I cannot pick just one from my "Bucket List!":
Go to Prague during the Christmas season, maybe on a Viking cruise ship.
Holland when the tulips are in bloom.
Embrace the country side of me and visit the Grande Ole Opry & Graceland.
I think I am an experience junkie because so many post sounds interesting to me, too. Not big on just laying on the beach and getting sand in uncomfortable places.

What is the obsession with Australia? 99% of it is desert, the only populated parts are on the very coastal regions, where the heat and humidity are high. Flies stick to you constantly, the place is full of Australians, and the beaches have no fish due to bottom trawling! It is over-rated! Great if you love to get sunburnt and have a sickening fetish for shopping malls! The US malls are bigger and better... IMO! Much of the coral is dead and dying on the Barrier Reef, so if you are going to see this, you better hurry up.
Anyhow, I'd like to turn South America inside out and back to front. My next destination will probably be Vietnam and Cambodia. Love Asia and love the Asians.

Don't bag my sunburnt Australia too much mate. Lived there most of my life and loved it.
It's not as beautiful as New Zealand, but it's home to me.
True Aussie has the top ten most poison snakes in the world, however, I never saw one in all the years I lived there. I saw my first snake (outside of a zoo) on Camp Pendleton USMC Base in Oceanside, California!!!

Another thing, you mentioned - the place (Australia is full of Australians - wow you're sharp!!! I'm sure these Americans would be disappointed to visit Australia and find it full of aliens. Our beacches have no fish? Very true, there are no fishes on our beaches because they're all in the ocean. Sickening fetish for malls? This is because it's full of Kiwi's who can't afford to shop in their own country. Much of the coral on the barrier reef is dead? You need to do your homeword before you comment on one of the Seventh Wonders of the World. Flies stick to you constantly, their are flies in every corner of this planet. It depends which season or state you're in.
Perhaps, the obseession with Australia is beccause it's a wonderful country, a continent in itself I might add, with nice people who don't waste their time running other neighboring countries (with an inferiority complex) down.
All that aside, congratulations, New Zealand All Blacks beat the Australian Wallabies at rugby yesterday!!!

I actually flew to Kathmandu (32 hours ) stayed in Ktm for a week , then pokhara (5 days ) and headed to base camp ! It was awesome and nature had deep down there . Was there for 24 days Totally loved it , Everest base camping starts at 10k plus
