Well maybe not the whole world but maybe you're smiling because someone special made you feel special or humored you. It's been a long time since I been with someone that brought the joy in me and although I'm interested in someone I hate to be too hopeful. I usually just put up a wall which maybe a reason why I haven't meet someone or allowed it to happen. Generally I'm a happy person and love to have a good laugh, but in the context of a relationship that hasn't happened much lately.
So how have your smiling been recently in regards to relationships? Are you usually the one making the person smile or laugh? Have you ever used humor to engage someone in dating?

I don't use tactics to date someone.
I'd rather just be myself and let the chips fall where they may...that way, the chances of true compatibilty are better.
If I use humor..its because I saw or thought of something funny.
And sometimes a persons outcome is caused by the choices they make or the life they led...

You're choosing to go off track and I'm not even going to state why. Just remember it's at my discretion who I allow to communicate with me in the forums. A good sense of humor is one of the most attractive traits a person can possess. It has caught my attention more than once.
And I'm generally a smiley person, regardless if I'm in a relationship or not.

Thanks. We do do it together. They are old British BBC shows from the 1970s through the 1990s mostly. We see them on Netflix, and Amazon, and Acorn. Keeping Up Appearances is about a middle class housewife who is always putting on airs, and trying to rub shoulders with the aristocratic elite. My Hero is about an almost retarded Superman type hero who is unfamiliar with Earth customs. Jeeves & Wooster is a dramatization of the Jeeves short stories written by P.G. Wodehouse. Hugh Laurie (Dr House) in his younger days plays a friendly drunken aristocrat who is always getting into trouble by trying to help people, and his valet Jeeves has to get him out of the trouble. Red Dwarf is about a black loafer, who is the last living human in the universe, and a hologram of his stupid, white, officer wannabe, roommate traveling through space aboard a mining ship with a ship's computer, and an android, and a black Little Richard type humanoid cat person who evolved from the loafer's household pet cat. They travel through space, back & forth through time, date aliens, etc. Picture The Odd Couple Goes Star Trekking to get an idea of what it is like.
