I'm really curious to know how the minds of people work. This has nothing to do with sex. It's just professional musicianship. However transgender people, more particularly, transgender woman are almost always seen in a negative light regardless of their talents or abilities. So would any musician (singer, rapper), producer, etc work with someone who is visibly transgender?

I'm just guessing from our age difference that musically our respective styles are non compatible, that being said I would work with you.

the problem is image
if you are trying to try your hand in pop culture you will lose.
everyone knows that you don't need talent any more to be famous. you just need to be marketable.
being transgender would not make you very marketable in the mainstream music scene.
just like sometimes people don't take me seriously when I tell them I am A metal guitarist. you have to look the part more then being able to play the part.

If you've got talent and we had musical chemistry it would not matter what gender you are.
The lead singer of Against Me! now goes by Laura Jane Grace, and any fan who doesn't have mental disorders will still love her and her band.
I'd enjoy turning the ignorance of insecure naysayers into a driving force to motivate and inspire, honestly.

I'm not a musician, just thought id pop in to say, that one of my best friends was a really good one... he gave it up, but he's transgender and he had a lot of problems getting into the music industry, wasn't cuz of his being transgender, part of it was because of his disability, he was really good before he quit tho
