The NFL is considering going to a 15 yard penalty for all pass interference calls just like the college game has in place. What do you guys think about this?
Doesn't make sense to me Tommy. It encourages deep ball defensive PI on early downs. What's wrong with placing the ball on the spot of the PI like they now?

Report: Giants considering a run at Ndamukong Suh

When defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh said in December that his agent will choose his next team, I assumed Suh meant his football agent, Jimmy Sexton. If that’s the case, Sexton likely will select on Suh’s behalf the offer that entails the most money, since the football agent gets paid based on how much money a football player makes playing football.
But what if the agent to whom Suh was referring isn’t his football agent but Suh’s marketing agent, Jay Z? In that case, the marketing agent would be less concerned about football-related revenue and more concerned about off-field earning opportunities, since the marketing agent gets paid based on how much money the player makes away from playing football.
If it’s the latter, a large market like Jay Z’s hometown of New York makes a lot of sense. Coincidentally (or not), Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that the Giants are considering making a run at Suh.
It would make a ton of sense from a football standpoint, since the Giants won their two championships since 2007 based on the strength of the pass rush — with an emphasis (especially against the Patriots) on creating pressure up the middle of the line of scrimmage. Ultimately, however, the Giants will have to compete with teams that view Suh as a player who can spark a Reggie White-style transformation of a franchise, making an irrelevant or long-suffering franchise suddenly interesting and potentially competitive.
Without question, Suh is the most significant defensive free agent since White picked the Packers in 1993. Former Packers G.M. Ron Wolf recently told PFT Live that White chose Green Bay because of the money the Packers offered, notwithstanding White’s claims of divine intervention. For Suh, the size of the football contract must be compared to the magnitude of the non-football cash possibilities, along with the kind of notoriety that will knock Alex Rodriguez from the back pages of the tabloids.
Whether it’s practical or not, the addition of the Giants to the pursuit of Suh makes a fascinating situation even more intriguing.

In this regard, then, I seem to recall that back in 1973 or 1974 the Giants went 6-0 in pre-season games and followed up by going 2-12 or 3-13 in the regular season. Giants tight end Larry Donnell was on board the inbound Delta flight from Atlanta that skidded off the LaGuardia Airport runway Thursday morning due to snowy and icy conditions.
Donnell posted a photo and video from the scene on his Instagram account, confirming he was not injured to those asking.
Donnell had made the trip to the New York area to sign his new contract with the Giants on Thursday afternoon. He was expected at the team's facility to finalize the deal as an exclusive rights free agent.

You never know Tommy Dungy could be right. I can not say I saw every single Oregon game with him at the helm but he just looked so average to me in the National Title Game.. He is a great runner but the NFL is not College he will not be able to take off like he has at Oregon....
MJD retires.... Real shame he wasted alot of great years playing for a sorry team... It was fun watching him play

Low, Your Buckeyes made Mariota look average in the National Title Game but I've seen this happen many times in big college football games and the guy who looked average turned out to be a really good NFL player. I'd sure take Mariota before I took Winston, with all the baggage he is carrying, but Tampa Bay seems to be dead set on drafting Winston #1.

Well supposedly Suh to dolphins 60 mil guaranteed in multi year deal..schitt kid where you getting your info...lol..knew he'd have to give discount if he wanted to be a giant. .Fuhgeddaboudit
Suh is not into discounts but I wonder how this is going to make Watt feel since Suh is now the highest paid defensive player in the NFL.

I bet they will cut the pay of hometown to supplement Suh's pay selling peanuts and popcorn or whatever the hell he sells tommy...lol

Jose, Hyde has super running back written all over him if he can stay healthy. The 49ers must feel that he is ready or they would not be parting ways with Gore. I think I'm going to have to take a crash course in who plays for who before next season starts with so much going on this offseason.
