Please tell me what is the shelf life of seeds? If I have veggie seeds from two summer's ago in open or not open packs...Will they grow? Thanks

They have pulled tomato seeds from the Pharaohs Tombs and grew them all are different...if you ask the seed people of course they will tell you they are bad. I have never planted any old ones that did not grow, but I am not an expert.

Storage is the utmost consideration in conserving reproductive seed.

Yes you have to keep them dry and I have heard greens seeds need to be frozen but have had them on the shelf for years and still had good luck...use what you have and I will bet they work as long as they have been dry. Also got pickup loads of "light" seeds from a seed harvester and planted dove fields and wild game food plots with them for years until the bugs finally got in them. They were just stored in my horse stalls in large orange grove picking containers..
