Rain again tonight. Gloomy all day. Do you think dates are better if planned on sunny days? I love storms so I'd be excited watching it build. But cold windy rain is depressing. Anyway.......anyone ever have a date with a new person and the weather turned bad?

Having a date on a nice sunny day is better if you are going to be outside doing something. A cold, windy, rainy day doesn't have to be depessing.

Here in Atlanta at summertime you cannot even walk outside with plastic shoes becuse they melt on your feet!

I can not ever plan on the weather where I live. It could be nice and sunny, then by the time I drive across town, dark and rainy.
Weather in northern Oklahoma changes too quick this time of year.
As for being on a date with a new person, and the weather turning bad, That has not ahppened in over 3 decades.

Well....if you plan a date by the weather and it changes....then you adapt and come up with something different to do, or go with the flow.
we are getting that front too.....and all the early spring things that came into bloom....might get killed off by frost or freeze....because the low Saturday is expected to be 25 degrees.
I hate when that happens...and its always just one or two nights that does nature in like this....

^^^^^^California has had it bad in the last few years....this year may be the worse I've ever seen.
When I lived out there, it would rain on and off all thru January thru to March.
and you have to figure back in the days of the Gold Rush in the early 1800's.....it had to rain enough, otherwise the streams would be to dry to pan gold in.

Our 4th straight year of bad water and low snow...
Up here where I am we would be fine if we weren't shipping our water south.
It's the rest of the state that is really hurting now and they are sucking us dry dammit...
Our snowpack is showing 44"s of water and normally at this time it should be 77"s, and with the higher temps we are getting it is melting faster now too!
We have been through these types of droughts in the past and within a year or two we end up having a bunch of wet years in a row. There are records that show it has happened at least 3 other times in the CA history...
