Dear sir,
Everyone is crippled in a variety of ways. What most of us males have been taught is to refuse acknowledging our weaknesses.
Some are insecure and 'need' power, prestige, money or position to bolster their self-esteem.
Others are taught that 'rugged individualism' is the measure of a man. No one can claim any success without there being supports in place that gave them the skills, insights and confidence to achieve. We all stand upon the shoulders of others as far as knowledge and emotional stability are concerned. There is no such thing as 'a self-made man.' It is an illusion that one can suceed without others.
Humility is more valuable than the opposite.
No one is 'healthy'. Don't let your infirmity limit or define you.
Keep groovin' dude.
D,
(PTSD)

I've dated one with polio and it was not the reason we broke up. It can be done. Jeannie had CP. She never married, but she had a kid or two just the same.
