Good question. I voted it is "not fine" for the matter of focus.
The purpose of FWB is to enjoy casual sex, without the need to worry about legal litigation, children, hassles, and stress that a full committed relationship brings on.

Even if you were having sex WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE, you can STILL think of someone else. How the hell would they know unless you told them?... which would be stupid and I don't recommend if it's a woman.
I don't think most guys care who you're THINKING about long as he's the one actually getting it. Women are typically more emotional and care about all that crap I think.

I am single for reasons I COULD change, if I wanted to. Believe me, at 35, it is not hard to find a single mother that is looking for a replacement daddy, for the douchebag she got knocked up and he left her. All I have to do, is walk to the local grocery store, about 2 mi(3.75 km) from my house. I could even choose pretty much any age, from about 14 to 45.
But, like I said, it ain't my fault that women make stupid choices in men, based on superficial status, instead of his actual character. And they can wallow in their mistake. I am not saving them. Not my fault they are unwilling to educate themselves on which guys are actually better for them, before they wind up another US Statistic on welfare.
