We are not allowed to hate people, no matter how bad they are. Even a soldier at war, whose duty is to kill the enemy, cannot hate enemy. We are allowed to hate wet farts (I hate them myself).

We can---and even should---hate bad things, evil acts, evil thoughts, oppression, sin, war, injustice, etc. We cannot hate people. We see people doing horrible acts and we should do two things---pray for the sinner's conversion, and remember we have sinned also.

The water isn't really holy anyway, no moreso than the Mithraic holy water, from whence the Catholics got their tradition, so it would be more of a childish prank than a sin. I wonder how many cases of the flu, the Plague, and what-not have been transmitted over the years by people dipping their fingers in "holy water" bowls and infecting it and then the next person or long line of persons dipping in it and waving it about their face in the sign of the cross?

The entire purpose of confession and penance, etc., is to keep Catholics on a short fear leash so that they always have to come back for more. And of course, there is no Purgatory. That's another doctrine of men. Your entire church is based on the doctrines of mere men placed on top of Paganism. Where does Jesus say, "some kind of penance must be done for them." If He didn't say it then it's just your church adding on to scriptures.
[These Catholics] draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Mat 15:8-9)

Every living thing will act , and behave , like they're the most important thing in the universe , even plants . Its the belief that controls all living things . Its not true , but it gives all things , the will to survive .
Plants , and animals , are suckers for this belief "they know not , what they do" . As intelligent creatures we should be way ahead of the game , so why do we continue to believe something , that was only ever there , for our own independent survival ?
We use harmony , and synchronicity , to make everything work , but we still use an instinctive belief , to make ourselves work .

This thread started off fun and soon digressed, bounced into antagonism, was woven into doctrinal and denominational squabbles and apparently just shows how dangerous wet farts can be.
We never know what the 'outcome' will be once it presents itself - even as in this post as a theory only.
I wonder if the staunch doctrinal criticisms, the antagonism, the detractions and the troublemakers are a natural evolution borne out of the 'wet fart doctrine;?

This 'miserable and self loathing' could also lead to acknowledgement of one's own arrogance and erroneous thinking that led one into rationalizations, excuses and self-justification wherefrom in retrospect one is led to repentance, a conversion of heart, amends building towards genuine humility. His humility recognizes the 'wet or dry farts' of others and offers them Grace and Mercy - all the while holding one's breath. The holding of one's breath prevents the more spiritually mature to refrain from criticizing or humiliating the anus that produced the acrimonious breath.
