For example can I consider myself to be a religious person yet hate wet farts?

Any ideas?

If you considered yourself religious, and enjoyed wet farts, it would be time for concern.

I'm thinking hate crimes against wet farts, would be permitted, and remember we don't hate the person, we hated the wet farts.

URANTIA:
...
2:6.8 (41.6) God loves the sinner and hates the sin: such a statement is true philosophically, but God is a transcendent personality, and persons can only love and hate other persons. Sin is not a person. God loves the sinner because he is a personality reality (potentially eternal), while towards sin God strikes no personal attitude, for sin is not a spiritual reality; it is not personal; therefore does only the justice of God take cognizance of its existence. The love of God saves the sinner; the law of God destroys the sin. This attitude of the divine nature would apparently change if the sinner finally identified himself wholly with sin just as the same mortal mind may also fully identify itself with the indwelling spirit Adjuster. Such a sin-identified mortal would then become wholly unspiritual in nature (and therefore personally unreal) and would experience eventual extinction of being. Unreality, even incompleteness of creature nature, cannot exist forever in a progressingly real and increasingly spiritual universe.

We are not allowed to hate people, no matter how bad they are. Even a soldier at war, whose duty is to kill the enemy, cannot hate enemy. We are allowed to hate wet farts (I hate them myself).

It is an honest question

Is it ok for religious people to have relations before getting married?

What if that person doesnt want to get married?

Or what if that person never finds anyone and their only outlet is masturbation?

Ok. I will play.

Religious people seem to hate all the time.

They seem to hate any religion that is not their own.

I will say not all people that are religious do that.

But they do tend to tell someone that doesnt believe the way they do is wrong.

So take that for what it is.

Nothing wrong with that.

Speak your mind.

I was off topic. But I related the topic. Sure it was vulgar and disgusting.

Every once in a while it's nice to get a rise out someone.

But taking things seriously on this website is just asinine

It's just a shitty website.

I hate lots of things.

I hate slavers, Daesh, Boko Harem, a nation that hangs 14 year old girls for breaking a religious law,,,,,

I also hate driver less cars, speed limits that are too low, and 'techo music",,,,,,

Oh man, and then there are the New York Yankees, the Montreal Canadians and Justin doing selfies,,,,

, oh well, guess I am doomed!

But some things, I love to hate.

If your truly a religious person who follows Christ teachings, you would have no desire to go out and kill, especially a bus load of children. Just as if your a truly religious person you would have no desire to hate.

God deems those who repent to be worthy of forgiveness, no matter how bad their sins.

"Though your sins be as scarlet, they will become white as snow."

The water isn't really holy anyway, no moreso than the Mithraic holy water, from whence the Catholics got their tradition, so it would be more of a childish prank than a sin. I wonder how many cases of the flu, the Plague, and what-not have been transmitted over the years by people dipping their fingers in "holy water" bowls and infecting it and then the next person or long line of persons dipping in it and waving it about their face in the sign of the cross?

"Reflecting common Oriental origins, Christianity and Mithraism shared many similarities in both doctrine and ritual. The followers of each creed shared belief in a great flood and a sacred ark, atoning sacrifice, immortality of the soul, a last judgment, the resurrection of the flesh, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. In each religion, priests presided over rituals that made use of bells, candles and holy water. Devotees of Mithra took part in a sacred communion banquet of bread and water (and possibly wine) – a ceremony that paralleled the Christian Eucharist.

In The Story of Christian Origins (p. 184), Dr. Martin Larson compares the two great religions:

"Each taught almost identical doctrines concerning heaven and hell, the last judgment, and the immortality of the soul. Each practiced the same sacraments, those of baptism and communion of bread and wine. Regeneration through the second birth was a basic doctrine of both, and each had the same conception concerning the inter-relationship of their members – that all were mystical brethren. Each believed that its founder was mediator between God and man, that through him alone was salvation possible, and that he would be the final judge of all. Each taught the doctrine of primitive revelation. Each emphasized the constant warfare between good and evil, required abstinence and self-control, and accorded the highest honor to celibacy."

Even after they had become active competitors, Larson goes on to note, Christianity borrowed significant elements from Mithraism. In time, Christians made Sunday, which the apostolic church had never observed but which had always been sacred to the Mithraists, their holy day. Still later, they made the 25th of December, which had always been celebrated as the birthday of Mithra, the birthday of their Christ."

The truly repentant can be forgiven any sin, but some kind of penance must be done for them, in this life or in Purgatory.

Penance is yet another Catholic doctrine of mere men. It's un-biblical, unnecessary, and wrong. The entire purpose of confession and penance, etc., is to keep Catholics on a short fear leash so that they always have to come back for more. And of course, there is no Purgatory. That's another doctrine of men. Your entire church is based on the doctrines of mere men placed on top of Paganism. Where does Jesus say, "some kind of penance must be done for them." If He didn't say it then it's just your church adding on to scriptures.

[These Catholics] draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (Mat 15:8-9)

Make clear in your mind these different attitudes toward the Father and his universe. Never forget these laws of relation to the Father’s will:

148:4.3 (1660.2) “Evil is the unconscious or unintended transgression of the divine law, the Father’s will. Evil is likewise the measure of the imperfectness of obedience to the Father’s will.

148:4.4 (1660.3) “Sin is the conscious, knowing, and deliberate transgression of the divine law, the Father’s will. Sin is the measure of unwillingness to be divinely led and spiritually directed.

148:4.5 (1660.4) “Iniquity is the willful, determined, and persistent transgression of the divine law, the Father’s will. Iniquity is the measure of the continued rejection of the Father’s loving plan of personality survival and the Sons’ merciful ministry of salvation.

148:4.6 (1660.5) “By nature, before the rebirth of the spirit, mortal man is subject to inherent evil tendencies, but such natural imperfections of behavior are neither sin nor iniquity. Mortal man is just beginning his long ascent to the perfection of the Father in Paradise. To be imperfect or partial in natural endowment is not sinful. Man is indeed subject to evil, but he is in no sense the child of the evil one unless he has knowingly and deliberately chosen the paths of sin and the life of iniquity. Evil is inherent in the natural order of this world, but sin is an attitude of conscious rebellion which was brought to this world by those who fell from spiritual light into gross darkness. -TUB

Every living thing will act , and behave , like they're the most important thing in the universe , even plants . Its the belief that controls all living things . Its not true , but it gives all things , the will to survive .

Plants , and animals , are suckers for this belief "they know not , what they do" . As intelligent creatures we should be way ahead of the game , so why do we continue to believe something , that was only ever there , for our own independent survival ?

We use harmony , and synchronicity , to make everything work , but we still use an instinctive belief , to make ourselves work .

This thread started off fun and soon digressed, bounced into antagonism, was woven into doctrinal and denominational squabbles and apparently just shows how dangerous wet farts can be.

We never know what the 'outcome' will be once it presents itself - even as in this post as a theory only.

I wonder if the staunch doctrinal criticisms, the antagonism, the detractions and the troublemakers are a natural evolution borne out of the 'wet fart doctrine;?

D

Any thoughts? (or have we run out of them?)

I wonder if the staunch doctrinal criticisms, the antagonism, the detractions and the troublemakers are a natural evolution borne out of the 'wet fart doctrine;?

Any thoughts? (or have we run out of them?)

The thought didn't create us . It keeps us a prisoner to a thought , that we thought , was better than all the rest ;

Are there any circumstances where a truly pious or holy person be permitted to hate?

For example can I consider myself to be a religious person yet hate wet farts?

Any ideas?

It's not just being allowed but is required.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Christians are self loathing and their behavior confirms that. The original Greek miseo sounds like misery because that is what it is. The entomology of the word hate and misery come from the Greek miseo. Christians are a miserable and self loathing lot and is displayed in their masochism.

This 'miserable and self loathing' could also lead to acknowledgement of one's own arrogance and erroneous thinking that led one into rationalizations, excuses and self-justification wherefrom in retrospect one is led to repentance, a conversion of heart, amends building towards genuine humility. His humility recognizes the 'wet or dry farts' of others and offers them Grace and Mercy - all the while holding one's breath. The holding of one's breath prevents the more spiritually mature to refrain from criticizing or humiliating the anus that produced the acrimonious breath.

Just wondering.

Worldly people imagine Christians as being miserable and unhappy, but it is not so. We are the happiest of peoples. The closer to Christ a person becomes, the happier he or she is.

"We are an Easter people and hallelujah is our song."
