My best friend just moved in with her boyfriend of two years. She was hesitant because she is a very independent woman who has been divorced for twelve years. When she moved in this was in to a new home that he had just purchased. Neither of them have children. They hooked his laptop up to the t.v. to do some type of video they wanted to watch from the internet and he had to put in his email address and when he hit the tab to enter it the box brought up like four different email addresses that had been entered recently on his laptop and one had some words about eatyourp*ssy in it and the other had dirtyharrywantsyou in it. She asked him about it and he said they were very old email addresses he used back before he met her (2 years ago mind you) and they just moved in this house with new cable and his laptop was just purchased back around Christmas. What would you think? Is he still using those email addresses. I told her YES he is still using them. He had to have logged in to them recently in order for them to pop up in the box like that. She didn't believe me and thinks I just don't like the guy.

I would believe him because sometimes when you have different emails they sometimes ask for a prime email addy just in case you forget your password or something related to it . I have few different emails I forgot all about . I know got AOL account but I can't remember my email addy for it because I have not use it since 2002.

I have two active Outlook accounts. One is for school and one is my personal account. They haven't been automatically linked together even though I use them on the same computer. I also have two One Drives.
To have more than one email address in a drop down box, you would have had to remove one address and enter a new one.
I probably would have believe him if he said that was his friend's email account or someone else's email account. My boyfriend's brother has a bunch of videos saved online. However, they are all lumped together in one account that his brother created... not multiple accounts.
I think the "eatyourp*ssy" account is probably where her boyfriend keeps all his PORN.

Obviously you don't like the guy and have control issues, and you know very little about how emails actually work.
Prior contacts and favorites are used by the email server and stored on the server. The PC accessing the server is irrelevant of its age, because the only thing it does is make a "request" for the information stored on the server(hence why it uses an encrypted password to permit access).
Should he have probably deleted those from his email history or contacts list, probably. This is also under the premise, that he would be able to do so. Many companies retain all that information, as part of their "Privacy Policy" so it can be turned over to the FBI later on, of requested.
Even my windows phone will show email addresses, from all the way back in 2003. I bought my Windows phone in 2013. The emails in my AOL contacts were people I have not even spoken to, in 8+ years. That is just how AOL works.
