It's been my observation that most in the Green Mountain State rarely have an opinion on any subject. Mainly because they lack the knowledge to participate in an intellectual discourse on any given subject. Save for, Maple syrup or Ice Hockey. Please don't misconstrue my point of view, or my message. I am simply saying most born and raised Vermonters are ambivalent about most topics. There frame of reference as limited as their opinions. .

Same in my age range as well.
Not many looking for an honest relationship. I am so disappointed!
I don't want to get felt up, be a mistress, part of a threesome (don't want to know)nor do I want to be fwb. I want an honest, real, down to earth, long term relationship that hopefully lasts a lifetime.

Hi Room, I've been thinking about traveling to Vermont, maybe moving there. The area I'd love to live in, is Duxbury or Waitsfield. I know it gets pretty hot in Montpelier and Burlington  (that's partly why I love being in the mountains)
I love the view from Camel's Hump of the Adirondacks and Vice Versa. I bet you can see Mt Washington from there.
BTW how often does it rain there? once or twice every week? How's the drought up there? And how often do you guys see Moose? Those things are huge. If you can tame one, I bet they'd be a great guard dog.
My brother-in-law grew up in Waitsfield. It's a small town and his mom knows everyone who lives there.
In Essex Junction you can see Mt. Mansfield and Camel's hump.
The drought isn't too bad here like it is in other states. The thunderstorms tend to be in the afternoon/evenings. The southern part of Vermont tends to get hit harder by storms.
If I could drive, I wouldn't live in Burlington. Where I am, there are five major colleges close by. It can get noisy and vandalism is an issue because of alcohol abuse.
There are some nice places in Burlington but it is the biggest city in Vermont and finding an apartment or home can be difficult.
On the outskirts, my sister has seen or heard deer, foxes, turkeys, coyotes, bear, fisher cats, but only moose tracks. They can hear them as the go through the woods.
I'm sure some of the other native Vermonters, that live in the country, have come across moose. It can be dangerous if one darts in front of you when driving. There are signs to warn you.

I live in the area called college ghetto. It can be difficult at times regarding the noise and vandalism. The public transportation is great as well as the assistance.
