"Don't waste your moments on mindless sex. If you're going to have it, make it mindful and enjoy every minute. If you meet someone you like, enjoy them at what ever level is comfortable. If sex feels right, do it. If it doesn't don't. If you meet someone you think you could spend a lifetime with, enjoy every moment of life time that's left. No hurry, this moment is all we have. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow isn't here. Is that complicated? Maybe, but it seems clear to me. Yea, chick logic is weird. "

You realize that you just blew the "Carpe Diem girls are easy" theory out of the water.

ark, did you really equate the meaning of carpe diem as "there is no tomorrow"? wow, I got something totally different out of it. To me, it means don't let opportunities pass you by. If you spend too much time worrying about the future (which is different than keeping an eye towards it, as forumfun said)AND worrying about what others (community, family, whatever) will think of you, then the moment where you are able to "seize the day" will pass you by and all you will have left is the regret of NOT making ANY choice. The "what ifs" that go on and on endlessly kill our joy for life. So don't let life pass you by as you sit and overanalyze every move. Which I, as a woman, tend to do unless I make a conscious effort to avoid it

You can see how this relates to dating, right?
