Tazz... of course anyone can cheat on a person.. no matter their religion. I don't think anyone is arguing that point at all. Being with someone who believes in God is very important to me. I don't care what he calls his God.. just as long as the spiritual food is there. I just cannot see myself with a man who who doesn't believe. I have dated Christians, Catholics, Jews, etc. Even tho they may not believe the same things as I concerning the Bible, they still have a strong tie with God. That I can live with very well. It would be like an athiest saying that they would not mind being with someone who believes in God. I just don't see that working.. do you?

I guess I never really payed attention to the religion before ya all brought it up. I am a spiritual person, but do not beleive that one religion is better than another. I don't go to church as much as I should, but I do pray everyday. I was baptized cathlic and I got married in Lutheran church. I think as long as you respect each other and deside before you have children how you want to raise them things should be good. JMO

No one is disputing the religion in itself... although I want nothing to do with muslim religion. I simply would not be interested in being with someone who did not believe at all.

Absolutely! I strongly believe that relationships MUST have couple of things in common .... first of all SPIRITUAL COMPATIBILITY.... RESPECT .....TRUST. Without the relationship is bound to break. I as a born again christian need to be equally yoked with another of the same. Let me give an analogy .... think of 3 strands the one strand is man, the other is Jesus, and the latter is woman. Picture Jesus(the middle strand) and the other two intertwining around Jesus. If the man and the woman are both putting Jesus as the head of their relationship, then it is a 'CORD' that CANNOT be broken. There will Never be a perfect relationship, but with HIM (JESUS) in the center the relationship can make it. My potential mate MUST not be religious because that is man made being religious... one must have a relationship with Jesus. It is very important, especially when bringing children into the world. You have to teach them not confuse them... in the end they will make their own decisions, and I just think when both believe the same it just makes for a happier home rather than a DIVIDED home.

I was married to a man for over 10 years that claimed he "believed" in God and was a follower of the bible but yet he was "looking" for other women on the internet for fun and divorce and abandonment of his family is acceptable to him.. So here goes, the fruit of someones spirit shows in their actions toward others.. He had no morals and values, so I would make sure that the man I date not only "says" he is a believer but "acts" as a true believer... Religious beliefs are very important.. I don't want to condemn others but I want someone whose beliefs are compatible with mine..

Religion is discussed way to much in relationships. Religion gets way to complicated just as politics does.Church is ok if you go once or twice a month. Just dont talk about it constantly and its O.K.
