Which Ontario NHL hockey team do you like better?
Toronto Maple Leafs?
or
Ottawa Senators?
Myself,I like both,along with the other Canadian based teams in the league. But when they play each other,I lean a bit towards the Leafs. Probably because they have been in the league my whole life,and the Senators entered the league when I was 21 years old.
Overall,my favourite team is the Vancouver Canucks.

I would NEVER root for the sens..... I am a Rangers fan first, than a leafs fan.... Living in Toronto, it's the hockey thing to do hating the sens.....

Both teams are scrap right now.They will both be contending in about 4 years.I can see Toronto building a contender.Ottawa will have to make some moves,and get 3 solid lines,or they will sink even further.

They have not been in playoff position for years. They will most likely not be in your lifetime. You wouldn't be 'jumping fan waggon' by not supporting the Leafs. You will only be accepting that they suck(most of them anyway). It sounds nice to say you're a Leafs fan b/c they are from the original 6, and a WW known city. I't ok, have a good cry and cut ties...
Me, I have accepted that my Sens are having an 'off year', and I do expect them to bounce back. I will certainly be cheering on the Flames.
...just had to say.

When I was a young sap It was NY Islanders all the way! I had the pleasure of seeing them win the Stanley Cup way back then (No cable back then for me.. just an antena.. LOL)
But over the course of time I fell in love with Toronto. It's like a love/hate relationship but I'm now a die hard for T.O!!!
However, I do respect the Senators as I do for the rest of the Canadian teams. I would prefer anyone of them to win the Cup than those south of our border.. not that I don't like those teams.. but it is just my preference. KEEP THE CUP IN CANADA!!!! haha
By the way... It's way cool that the Stanely Cup is coming to my city!!!! And within the next two weeks. That is going to be way awesome!!!!

I hate the Leafs and the Sens Go Habs Go the Leafs Have been pathetic for years although I think they may make a good playoff run in this 2009-10 season with all the prime blueliners and that Swedish Goalie they Picked up the Habs leafs games are going to be great now that the habs are an offensive juggernaut and the Leafs are a defensive force to contend with I can't wait
