He is the "brain" for way too many people in this country.
And an angry brain at that!
The stuff that comes from his mouth is toxic. And it is stunning how many listen as if he was the gospel... preaching to the lowest common denominator.
What a blowhard and a hypocrite.

You hit the nail on the head, Pam. Did you that Rush Limbaugh is a junior-college drop-out? He flunked every course. He was 4-F for the draft during the Vietnam War. He is not a "thinking man". He's an entertainer. Like you said, unfortunately he has a following who are convinced he is a political pundit. He's a charlatan.

Wasting time on Lim Rushbaugh
Rush Limbaugh is a poopy man
Who has a poopy head
His poopyness is gospel to the clans
Whose minds are dead.
This lunacy would be funny
if it were only done in jest
His love affair with money
puts ones patience to the test.
These hollow platitudes are driven
by self-deciet and greed
The networks won't be forgiven
as they water this bad seed.
In the mire of this excrement
there is hope for us indeed
We mustn't get spiteful or bent
and elect leaders that can lead.
This is time for America's hope
In spite of this poopy man
You did not vote for a total dope
but a man who has a plan.
So hold your heads up high
Your actions have spoken loud
Looking up to a brighter sky
Even his malice cannot cloud.
It is up to you and up to me
to follow he who is more wise
and allow the proper things to be
wasting no time on evil lies
Look for what is in your heart
Pay no heed to that old fart.
wow that was fun composing -

Happy New Year, gang! Hey, d_voted, I thought your poem was funny. But, I think we should pay heed to Rushbo and the other nitwits (like Palin) - because they need to be exposed and held under the light of reason. Our worst enemy for the past eight years under shrub Bush was our own collective apathy.

Actually, Pam, the GOP just appointed a moderate-leaning black man as their party leader. Good for them, I think their leaders are starting to see the hand-writing on the wall - that they better start to appear to be embracing diversity and moderation in thinking. I've seen reports that many prominent Republicans are distancing themselves from Mister Limbaugh.

A report from CNN yesterday said the Democratic Party is going to start a blitz of tying Limbaugh to the Republican Party. As in, they are going to start bringing him up a lot in the press, making sure every time to refer to him as a Republican. The idea is to try to embarrass the GOP into an official statement to renounce him and his views.

Even Great Britain is getting into the act.
Now if the can add Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, Glenn Beck to their list and the U.S. do the same.
MICHAEL SAVAGE AND FRED PHELPS - BANNED FROM ENTERING BRITAIN:
LONDON (AFP) – The government published a blacklist on Tuesday of people recently banned from the country including a Hamas lawmaker and a Jewish extremist, as well as anti-gay protestors and a far-right US talk show host.
Hamas MP Yunis Al-Astal, Jewish extremist Mike Guzovsky, former Ku Klux Klan leader Stephen Donald Black and neo-Nazi Erich Gliebe are also on the list, as is controversial radio host Michael Alan Weiner, also known as Michael Savage.

Limbaugh to Colin Powell: Become a Democrat
This draft dodger is criticizing a 4 star general who has seen war first hand.
Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Sec. of State.
==================================================================================
Rush Limbaugh fired back at Colin Powell for his critical comments earlier this week, saying Wednesday that the former secretary of state should join the Democratic Party.
"What Colin Powell needs to do is close the loop and become a Democrat instead of claiming to be a Republican interested in reforming the Republican Party," Limbaugh said on his radio show Wednesday.
Limbaugh also took aim at Powell's decision to endorse President Obama over John McCain during the presidential election, repeating his earlier sentiment that Powell's move was "solely based on race."
================================================================================
Go to wikipedia and look up the career of Colin Powell. Compare it to Rush's service record.

alan! Well, I don't think the U.S. should follow Great Britian's lead in prohibiting right-wing talk-show hosts from entering the country. America has always been a beacon of freedom (including freedom of speech). We can tolerate a few blow-hards, in order to preserve our liberties. Good 'ol Lush Rimbaugh....he's an idiot to be encouraging more Republicans to leave the fold and turn Democrat. I believe his "playing the race card" with Colin Powell just proves what a racist he is.

With respect to Limbaugh buying a part of the Rams with Checketts.
I don't think that the NFL will allow it

This is still America. Nobody can be denied the right to buy a football team because of their political views or their arrogance. If political ignorance and arrogance prevented NFL owners from owning their franchises, just how many of them would be disqualified. I say Rush has a right to buy the Rams. Actually I think you need to seriously question your political affiliation. Cause I have listened to Limbaugh, not because I ever heard one tidbit of fact or reason, but because its imperative to always know thy enemy. The guy is a jerk to the Nth degree, and represents everything that is wrong, bad and evil with political thought in these united states.

Of course I'm not grouping you in with the average Texan Slap. But the average Texan actually think that they have contributed to the greatness of this country and history just doesn't bear that out. Of the three U. S. wars that most historians consider mistakes and failures, all three were essentially started by Texans. Those wars being the Mexican War, Vietnam War and the Iraq War. Texans never knew a war that they didn't like. There are many exceptions, but the average Texas voter is a stupid individual. Not to say the average Alabamian ant a close second.

Idol, thanks for the good laugh. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment that Texans never met a war they didn't like. In the area I live in, people let their children start deer hunting at age 4......with guns. "Oh, he LOVES it!" Makes me nauseous.
When my daughter was pregnant with her first baby, she was shopping locally, and while standing in line to pay, a lady asked her about her due date and whether or not she knew the baby's sex. She replied that the baby was a boy, to which the checkout guy said, "I tole ma wife tha' when we have are first boy, his first gift is gonna be a SHOTGUN. Tha's what my daddy gave me!" She just about died right then and there.
