God made the rain to fall on the just as well as the unjust. Things are NOT always fair, nor do they seem to make sense. And don't blame yourself, so turn off the ass-kicking machine. Your daughter is very fortunate to have a Mom who cares and loves enough to stop by unannounced in order to surprise and help her. You're both safe, and ultimately that's all that really matters. Thank you ylekiot,She is doing much better now and just want everyone to know I wasn't trying to whine, I just needed some support myself and I have lots of friends that care about me on here, it wouldn't be the first time you have all given me a hug and I'm always there to return the favor, I thank god for my beautiful daughter every waking moment and when someone hurts her I go crazy, just like any parent would, shame on the assholes that hurt her and they better pray real hard when they go to bed tonight, that the cops find them before I do.

Sorry to hear that Romie. Thankfully you two weren't there or didn't
walk in on them while they were there. You could have really gotten
hurt so I'm glad to hear you're both ok. Now... keep your ears and eyes
open and you'll figure out who did it. Could be closer than you think
if it's an apartment. But don't worry, they don't usually return because
they usually get everything they want the first time. Too risky to go back.
Wish I could help you catch em and kick their ass!

O my god, Romie I dont even know what to say. I'm so so sorry hun. It's so bad, I cant believe this happened on your holiday and birthday,or at all for that matter. You have my sympathy, I know how you feel. A while back while at a football game my van was broken into, and the thieves stole a TV, nintendo player and games. One of the games my son (ten at the time) had worked very hard for six weeks to earn the money to buy. When he asked me if the theives had stolen 'his' game, and I told him yes, I'll never forget the look of shattered innocence on his face. We were fortunate and able to recover all of our property at a near by police station. A police officer saw this dirt bag carrying our stuff in a large trash bag, and took the property from him when he couldn't prove where he got it from. Don't waste a lot of your time with vengence or vengeful thoughts though, they will just eat you up.

Did you catch those shit heads yet? I work in law enforcement
and you'd be surprised how much stuff is recovered. You can
find those guys just by word of mouth. I mean them opening their
mouths. Some people are stupid... like the ones that pulled
that kind of stuff on Thanksgiving.

Romie there are bad people in this world and i just read through a thread about karma trust me it exsits and it does come around to bite you in the ass when you do something bad to other people. Dont blame yourself for this unless you stood there holding the door open for them. They were gonna rob the place whter it was locked or not. Just be glad your daughter is safe.

No didn't catch them yet, just can't believe it happened,and on Thanksgiving of all days, I've been through alot in my life and can and do expect these things to happen, but my daughter is just starting out and I don't want her to have Ill feeling about life, but then again I want her to be prepared when they do happen, so tomorrow we will start a new day and let law inforcement do their job, all I can do now is be there for Sammi my daughter.

ha ha ya my friend got his shit rob like last week, and we put a adt sign in his frnt yard and waited to c if any one came back... bc usually when u get robbed they might come back for more..... we put out the adt sign and actually watched the people walk to the door and c the sign in the lawn and walk away real fast.....
