dont get me wrong in the right way they could be a good thing like hey i noticed you...and maybe that is an idea instead of a wink...but when they are so far out of your age limits or miles...i dont know has to be a solution!

Hey, Busy....I am not sure that would work since many people here don't really care about the distance and that's not an issue for them... Although, it would be a nice thing to have some kind of filter, so to speak...Like you set a distance limitations and these who are outside of that area can't contact you directly...(On a second thought, it will be difficult to keep in touch with some friends)....

Winks are a way to start communication just as these threads are then after a while move up to the next step E-Mail now as far as someone with no pic I can understand and as far as if a lady says she don't like winks in her profile I can understand that to I never do but for Gods sake its just a wink its not like somebody ask you to go to bed with them.

It wasn't working for me any more to email folks who don't bother to know what they are winkin at. If I'm winking atcha, I've got a reason.
hot..it is just that, personal preference. A few of us have stated ours, this was just a FYI. Don't want to be called a b*tch for not emailing those winks anymore!

well what about more option buttons to say what you mean....breaking the ice isnt easy with some one you dont know...the rejection thing is an issue so...maybe having more intro option buttons to choose from to make a first contact

Busy, our whole point is, why not just e-mail someone and say "Hi, how are you today?"...That's all we are asking for...We don't need your full biography or your views on politics on the first e-mail...Just that ONE short sentence will get the ball rolling...
