I have always had a problem with it because I am 5'9". I have never dated anyone shorter than me until recently. He does not have a problem with it and wants me to wear 4 inch heels, but I still feel self concious about it.

At 5'2" it's difficult to find someone shorter than I am, but I have managed a few times to find someone my height, and it didn't bother me in the least! Makes them just that much easier to dance with!

I have never done it, so I don't know the answer. I do know I like wearing heels and at 5'7" that puts me at 5'10" or more. I suspect I might feel self-concious at first. But if you really care about them, I don't see where it matters.

What sort of question is this?? What has height got to do with being a great guy??? So, what if he is great at being a lover and a husband but lacks the height, what do you do?? What happened to the core aspect of choosing a partner---character????

I'm 5'10", and have dated many guys shorter than myself. I just make sure to wear flats... I also get a power trip thingy out of it... which can be fun...
funny moment: um... 1991... dancing... guy came up to my forehead. I hit my nose on his forehead... broke my nose... completely... off to the side... didn't care, kept dancing, went to the doctor a few days later, had surgery and had it rebroken.
Height is so low on the priority list... personality is much more important.

I realize that height doesn't make the man, but personally I've never dated a guy that was shorter than me. I know there are many great men of every heighth, weight, and race, as are women. That's why we have preferences. Isn't it wonderful that the world is made up of a diverse group of people?! I prefer not to date a man shorter than me; even a man my own height; which is 5'10", is a little uncomfortable for me because of wearing hills. Height is at the top of my list; if not THE top.

Sooner or later, it ends up being an issue to the man. Incidentally, have you women noticed how men totally lie about their height in their profiles?? Look out for the ones that say they're 5'9". That translates to about 5'7" with shoes on!!

Well, this thread makes it clear why many women end up with air heads and dead beats who sire children with them and yet fail to stay with them to help them raise these kids. It seems they will take a short man only for the purposes of using him to help them raise their kiods. Keep looking and keep attracting tall men all you want. Just make sure they stay with you to help you raise those kids. LOL! Won't happen!!!! Character is what makes a man and not height.

I never dated a short guy until now. I'm 5'8 1/2" and LOVE to wear very high heels. He is 5'8". He says he does not mind me wearing my heels but I feel like an Amazon woman when I walk beside him.

Well, being that I am not a skinny gal, if I tower over a man I feel like a damn behemoth! I have a hard time being comfortable and I am really self conscious about it. But if there was just an inch or two I don't have a problem... it's when they are below 5'6 that I can't handle!

I find it very uncomfortable for the man to be shorter. One guy I met, I just couldn't imagine going forward with him. NOt only was he short, but he was a very petite man, and I am a woman of "few extra pounds". I know we should not judge by appearances, but there were other issues in addition. One was the issue that talking to him was like dragging the words from him. I've met other not tall men and have felt very comfortable around them.

I find it interesting how many woman insist on honesty then misrepresent themselves concerning age and weight they advertise on their profiles. Yet they act surprised that a man who is 5'8" or under would exaggerate their height on a profile. It is also interesting how often men are charged with being superficial and overly concerned with looks, when so many women dismiss a man for no other reason than his height. Women are every bit as shallow and superficial as men, their particular issues are just different.

However, I am not attracted to short men any more than I am attracted to fat men and I don't think it makes me less of a person because I have a preference. I like who I am and what I look like. If others don't, I don't worry about it...

Hey. I'm 5'4" and 210 lbs. And I ain't lying -- I'm not 5'3" or 5'1". I am not 230 lbs or 250 lbs. I'm 5'4" and 210 lbs.
Hold -- why am I so proud of this? It's because I think I am insane with hunger right now. But I can't reach the cereal because it's on the top shelf. F.
My teachers always warned me this would happen if I did not learn the main rivers of Malta or how to solve second-degree equations with two unknowns. They also said, if I stayed stupid and short, I'd become one of those unknowns pretty damn quickly.

yeh and like women dont lie in there profiles lol like there age for instant.both genders expand on teh truth on sites like this. maybe some blokes lie about there height abit but ive seen pics of women with grey hair and wrinkles claiming to be 19-22 yrs old lol
i dont see what height has to do with it. blokes have to put up with women having fat asses so they should put up with shorter blokes.

How do you loose weight? I know you can LOSE it, but how do you loose it? Am I missing something?
There are different ways to lose weight...the most advisable is to consult your own doctor first.
Now, having said that, you must realize that there are some conditions that make harder for some people to lose weight. Exercise and proper nutrition are essential in this case.
