Back in the USA, I am interested in a get togethere any time this summer. SD is so great in the summer! Anyone who wants to do something in the Black hills this summer, I have plenty of room, and ther is so much to see and do in the area!

Yeah, hard to get together with others isn't it? 
I find that if I just do things I like to do, I will meet others. 
Challenge comes with being able to do things with others on a regular basis  -- or as Rich has pointed out, planning something others will actually show up for.

The first weekend of August = a campout with dancing and trailrides planned for an area close to Big Stone Lake. That is just across the SD border by Big Stone City, SD. From what I understand, the dances are planned for outdoors on both Friday and Saturday if the weather is good. Seems like dancing/talking under the stars would be a great way to get to know someone. If the weather is not so great, the dances most likely will be moved in doors.
This is not just a singles event, so kids and anybody can go. Therefore, singles with kids should feel welcome. Seems like it could also be a way to meet others and network if you like the outdoors-type of environment. Also, we could arrange something "extra" for singles to meet and greet each other if desired -- just need to know what else others would like. I have been told that a couple hundred people have gone to this gathering in the past so I would think there will be more than one or two people to talk to this year also.

Sorry Rich, I do not want to head it up, surprising how many things seem to keep me busy since I retired. But would be happy to help someone else.
