I understand the question itself, but not the purpose of it.
I don't know if your looking for justification on something or what the real motive is. The question itself is somewhat non specific.
Would it not be the same as me posting a thread that says "Why don't supermodels want to date me?"
If I knew the purpose of the question, rather than the vagueity of the what you asked, perhaps I could help.

As for who someone would pick to date do you think that how much money you make matters? No woman said yes to that question earlier this week.. It sounds as if you are a very brass person could this be the reason that you dont get replys from quality women? Willy

this is a question about race or the question would have been asked in a way that leaves out race. you have a problem finding what you want rather than looking for what you need. the thing you should be wanting is a lady,period. color should not be in this question in order to get an anawer unless you are fishing for potential ladies to write..

Luvs, I hope I didn't offend you. I really do. But honestly, I hope one of the points I made is that things ARE changing. One generation ago, I had a dad who would have absolutely forbidden me to date outside my race. I can honestly say that if one of my children chose to do so, it would take me a while to get comfortable with it inside my head, but I would bite my tongue and treat that young man or young woman the exact same as I would treat anyone else my child brought home, as long as they're treating said child right. While it might not gel in my head or with my emotions, my MIND would know it's the right thing to do and that's what I'd go with. I bet my kids won't give it a second thought when they have children. So things ARE changing. It just doesn't happen overnight.
I mean, keep in mind that your grandparents (and maybe parents) had to deal with separate bathrooms, bus sections, etc. We haven't come as far from there as some people would like to believe, but we HAVE come quite a ways for four decades, considering how totally stagnant the issue was for the preceding four *centuries*.

For me personally black men are all i will date. don't get me wrong i have dated all races but feel more attacted to black men plus they know how to treat a woman. I just haven't found the right one yet but still looking.

When I think of what I want in a husband , things like who will be loyal and faithfull to me . . . who's behaveour will reflect well on me . . . who will make me more important in his life than anyone else . . . I think of a man of my race who has the same interests and likes as me . . . . . . . .  My question for you is why don't you like the woman of your race ? If you don't like woman of your race ~ Why should white woman want you ?

Personally, not from experiencem but I've noticed with my white girl friends that date black men, black women get very offended sometimes saying that white women are stealing their faithful or decent black men. I don't have a problem with interacial relationships really. I have never been in one but I live in a very small town. But I don't understand why women get offended neither because white women date black men because in all reality.....people are people and that's the bottom line.

Well you have every right to take offense to that in my opinion. I don't think that skin color matters. I want to know the real person. I wouldn't turn a good man away like that based on his skin color. I am very sorry that you have to deal with that. I couldn't imagine.

I personally have a preference for white women I like the contrast of it. I also tend to have alot more in common. I have dated black women before and every single one that I dated always acted the same. I am getting older in age and I dont have time for games. Now I have had black women say things to me for dating white women but that doesnt bother me because its whats in my heart.
