It isn't that they aren't attractive and sexy as hell - they are (can be) for me it's that I believe relationships are complex on numerous levels already...to add in the difficulties of inter-racial relationships and marriages only exacerbates an already tough thing...JMO

I imagine that some white women don't date black men because they just have a preference for white men. They tend to have a lot more in common. Perhaps they have dated black men before and every single one that they dated always acted the same.
That does sound a little racist, I suppose--generalizing like that and rejecting all black men because of the relatively few that they have actually dated.
But that shouldn't bother you because that is what is in their hearts.

Bocky you sound like you have some serious issues! Are you that lonely? I will say this again, I just wanted to put this question out there just as a topic of conversation nothing more. But all this negativity is crazy! Maybe its just me, I understand everyone has preferences hell I have a preference myself I was only trying to get to the why? I have had friends before that had said they were attracted to black men but just couldnt act on it because of friends, family etc that is what I meant why do people act like that?. Geez people

No one is 'naturally' a 'racist'....that line of thought is perfectly without merit, and without basis in scientific, religious or moral underpinning.
Actually, it's not. Go research it sometime. It's been suggested by psychiatrists, anthropologists and sociologists for years. You might want to spend some time actually getting an education, rather than reading the thesaurus.
If you are certain as you have stated that "we all are" [racists] but state sheepishly that "MAYBE I am a racist"...

Rockabilly refers to a genre of music and dress. Redneck (to me and my friends) generally goes by Jeff Foxworthy's definition. And yep, they're me all over. As I stated before - although it apparently did a fly-by on you - not a drop of my blood is Anglo. I *look* white, which most people take to be Anglo/Caucasian. I'm actually 15/16ths Celt (which is a race totally separate from Anglo), and 1/16th Apache. Most "white" people don't know what their ancestry is as specifically as I do; I'm lucky that my family kept very particular records practically back to the stone age so I do. I guess I can move to Ireland and go waltzing around the south end of the country, looking for romance. Alternatively, I can stay here and date Native American men, which I do all the time. One of my most awesomest relationships ever was with a full-blooded Cherokee.
You ASSumed that when I said I had a hard time dating outside of my race, that meant that I could only date white. Whoops.
