My heart belongs to the doberman, had two at different times in my life- a male and then a female, they were just great and were wonderful companions. I now have a pupppy mill rescue Maltese age four, adorable but have to adjust to having such a small dog.

Std. Poodles. They ARE NOT foofoo dogs contrary to their appearance. Very intellegent, great watch dogs, can be used for hunting, even use as therapy/nursing home dogs.

Yorkies - always thought they were sissy dogs with an attitude, but what a great dog mine is! Can run 2 miles, keep up with my border collie and is quite the little watch dog and so affectionate! Love that little girl!

Those bull terriers and pit bulls look pretty sharp. Did you know Washington State Patrol use pit bull terriers now? Idk, maybe because so easy to get a pit bull to false alert and search a car whenever you wanna. I love dogs in general, from what I understand canines were the first domesticated animal. I am fond of the herding breeds tho. I say Malinois all the way tho. This breed has my heart all the way. I have a Malinois puppy now and its the center of my entire universe. This is a breed of shepherd created in Belgium, used by the secret service, police, and military alike. Its the same breed of dog used by Seal Team 6 to capture the supposed Bin Laden. Some people from Seal Team 9 do not believe that was really Bin Laden idk and who cares tho because what an awesome breed!

I love dogs, especially small dogs. I like the festy ones that are mean and mischevious.

Australian Shepherds and Dobermans are my two very favorites.
I also love most of the Collie breeds. Collies, Border Collies etc. In brains, my Aussie can't be beat. She knows what I am thinking before I say it. Awesome, awesome dog.

Australian Shepherd Mixes. I love the Aussies. Active yet not as crazy as Border Collies. Smart and extremely loyal. Like some of the other herding breeds, they aren't for everyone because an active bored dog quickly becomes a very destructive dog! I learned that the hard way with my first Aussie.

My FAVORITE breed is the Borzoi, also known as the Russian Wolfhound. I no longer have this breed but miss them terribly. I currently own Pomeranians. There are sooo many breeds I adore...wish I could have them all!

i had a wonderful c*cker spaniel, and he got old and eventually i had to do the humane thing and get him put to sleep. i assure you that it's one thing that can make a full grown man cry like a little 5 year old boy. a month or two later, i still had the blues about my little rudy, so i went to a pet store and found nick. nick is a siberian husky, and he actually chose me. we've been great pals for 8+ years now, and he's been the most loving dog i've ever owned. i cannot imagine not having a dog. there's a reason they're called "man's best friend" they truly are that.

Ive had alot of dif. breeds I must say Alfonse was my favorite Half German Shepherd and Half WOlf, currently I share my life with Maia Half artic and half timber wolf. Probably wouldnt go the wolf route again they are definately different then dogs Much more loveable, definetly more ???? Lets just say you shouldnt be livin in an apartment or be moving around with one.

I breed & raise show bullys before my husband proved me wrong, I absolutely HATED pit bulls! I believe everything the news said, but now I realize, any dog can be vicious! My mini weeny is so mean I had to give him to my mom! Its all how they are raised & loved, any dog, just like any person, can only stay backed in a corner for so long before snapping! I love my bullys! They are my kids!

There are soo many different awesome dog breeds out there but ones that i like the most would have to be, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, Shiba Inu's and Finnish/Swedish Lapphunds, though Japanese Spitz and Maltese's are alright considering i live with some!

There are alot of breeds I like. Rotties, Dobies, German Shephards, Mastiffs, Akitas. But my favorites are the pitbulls. I fell in love with the breed after I adopted one. I loved them even, more after volunteering at an animal shelter.

I like all kinds. Just fostered, then adopted an abandoned dog (Boxer). The owners were evicted and when they moved they left the dog tied in the yard and did not return. She is a sweetie, only 18 months old, (sadly) she has had pups before and has also been mistreated, but is very sweet. When I pick up on something that bugs her, I work her through it. She's scared of mop/broom handles, I found out when I was mopping, and she cringed away. My son started to move her, I said no, leave her there, and I ran the mop some more, and reached and petted her, so she'd know it wouldn't hurt her. She's also flinched from my hand when I reached to pet her the first day, so I knew she'd been hit over the head also. I just talked soothingly and kept on petting and scratching her head till she relaxed.

I love my Aussies- they are unbeatable in the brains department!!
But we just recently (as I posted before) fostered, then adopted a Boxer that had been abandoned. The owners moved away and left her tied in the yard.
The dog warden was called after several days, and picked up this dog- she is a beauty!!
I saw her at the pound and asked about her and he said he had to hold her for a few days, in case the "owners" would decide to come and claim her. So I asked 'what if we foster her?' and he said, you can take her right now! We got to adopt her last Thursday!!
There are signs of abuse (fear of a mop handle) and cringed the first day when I went to pet her head- but we are working through those. She comes as soon as we call, when we take her out- she is getting pretty good at sitting on command and has had no house accidents. She is in heat- thankfully she went in after we got her- so as soon as her cycle is over- she can be spayed with no worries.
