I cant take it no more, and you all wonder why bella is INSANE...........oh man....just believe the dutchman.......what the heck is going on in here? A scam is a scam. Tell him you need the money to bail him out. See what he says. Tell him you called the embassy and they said you cannot leave....barb, what are we going to do with you? You keep this thread going on and on, and i think you are playing us all more than the nigerian man....you know what to do, dont play stupid.

one of my ex's was chatting with a guy from another country and after awhile they was starting to have feelings for eachother till he ask her for her birth certicate so he can come to canada duhhhhhhhh

This thread has got to be a joke, you cannot be seriously contemplating sending this man anything, much less money YOU HAVEN'T EVEN MET THIS MAN! If he has access to a computer to email you from his "hiding place" then HE can email the proper authorities HIMSELF to get HiIMSELF out of whatever trouble he is in. What is his plan to retrieve the money you are to send him, if he has no identification, or passport? But it appears you are hell bent and bound to send him the money anyway, so go ahead, and in a few days we can all post in the "I am homeless because I sent some asshole scammer all my money" thread. I am going to photobucket to look for I told you so graphics for that thread.

She has a way with words.....you find that photo bucket picture girl....im too busy in the other forums trying to figure out why men do what they do....LOL.....so hold that thought, and i will be back on this post in just a few.....

They are Pro's BARB! They play you, get you to love them, they prey on the lonely people in the world. Don't feel bad. I've been there too.
I'm sure the same guy is playing many on this site. Send a note to Dustin...Just give him the facts.
Or if you get mad...Just string him along on this site ONLY! Usually if you say you don't have money they will miraculously be freed and then get hit again in some unforeseen bind and in need of cash again.
Here's the rules! Only contact him here. If you gave him your Email Addy...change it soon. If you gave him your home number, BAD GIRL!, change that too. Don't call him! They have a scam where they can go through a foreign exchange and make large charges to your phone bill. Use your cell phone...Better yet use a throw away pay as you go model. $20.00 at Walmart.

OH Barbara,This is serious a few things should be noted
1st Anybody that is supposed to be in love with you and even looks at let alone emails somebody else is just plain stupid
2nd 99% of people that do business in Nigeria are scammers
3rd What kind of a man would ask a single mother for money?
4th We all know love is blind, but should it be expensive too?, The best way of never hearing from this type of person again,is to send them money...they take the money then poof they are gone..it happens over and over
The list could go on and on..You seem such a lovely lady,just be very careful and protect yourself
If he is really a businessman,he will find a way without preying on you and i believe others would be involved too
Listen to others hun...so many really care

Hi Barbara:
I have seen you around on the forums, and you have always come across as pretty with it & levelheaded.
I know you are offline at this point, but when you read this answer the following questions:
1) What person "doing business goes to Nigeria?" (it's a third world country - and I can come up with a multitude of countries to do business in that are economically well off!)
2) How did he contact you if he can't leave his hotel? By phone? By internet?
- if by internet... all of the embassies can be contacted by internet!
3) Why are you the only one can help? He doesn't have family?
4) you mentioned he would be traveling from the UK to visit you..... UK EMBASSY - if that is where he lives.... Is that where he lives? Why is he calling you in the USA?
5) Again- he cannot leave his hotel room.... If you wire him the money, How is he going to retrieve it?
Barbara.... You Are Smarter Than This BS! Now take the "love" Blinders off and protect your finances! You're going to need every penny with the price of gas rising everyday!

thanks for your info. He has called me many times and would ask me to call him right back, so I did. LIKE A FOOL. Long distancce and international!He asked me to call him very often! Now I am worried about phone scams1 OMG!

My god woman! Wake up and smell the coffee! I had this scam happen to me too, 4 times! I am telling you that this is definately a scam. Anytime a man asks for money it raises an eyebrow on me...hon, wake up! You will kick youself in the butt if you follow thru with this! Stop feeling sorry for him, he is lying and is doing this same thing to many others.

You are most certainly being SCAMMED...... He's emailing other women to get their money too. My first on-line dating experience ended up being a scammer. He was an artist in Nigeria for a show. Same story, beat up and robbed, no money, couldn't get home. Sent me money orders and phony checks to cash and send back to him but thanks to my bank they determined they were PHONY. He also swore his love to me and I felt just like you do. I wanted him and wanted to help him. I am so happy I finally woke up and realized what everyone around me was telling me. Google Nigerian Scams and I know you will find his picture. They use pictures of models.
GET OUT NOW AND FORGET ABOUT HIM. ALSO, BE VERY CAREFUL IN THE FUTURE........
