You are definitely being scammed bigtime. Noone goes to Nigeria on business. It is a cash based society. You need cash in advance for the hospital, hotels, etc. There is no such thing as BTA either(basic travel allowance). Scamming is Nigeras biggest producer of money from the USA. They all use the same tactics, lost passport, was mugged on the way to the airport to see you, had accident etc etc etc.
I have been in the seame situation. He is a fake.

stash. He could be any age even 19 year old scam trainee. A picture means
nothing. Your pic bespeaks of being fairly well off and you yearn for love

Barbara, I am sorry. I can't understand how ppl can live with themselves by hurting and stealing from wonderful ppl.

about the email.. i don't know what to think.. all i know is now your lost in the smoke.. where there's smoke there's fire. run the wrong way your gonna get burned.. so wait for the smoke to clear..
but dont send that guy money.
it sure sounds like a scam to me.
