For sale:::: 98 buell s1 lightning. 1203cc ( same motor in Harley sporter 1200) made by Harley. There version of a sport bike. Flat black body tank. Purle frame.
Bike sat for 3 years waa gone threw in June got running. New tires 600 miles ago. New shock( hard to find discontinued) mileage 18k runns strong. Was told head work done by mechanic, and previous owner.

I like a bike that does more than one thing,I have a first gen Concours,tour cross country,or sport ride twisty back roads.Looking at the second gen Concours based on the zx14 Ninja...again,transcontinental missile.BMW K1300GT is a nice bike too,dont care for the new K1600GT,they have fallen into the bigger is better trap.Most any 600cc class sportbike would eat its lunch,and 25grand....stfu

Im 55 and in my younger years i was raised harley f..kin davidson..
Well We all grow up and realize that alot of things that we beleaved in as a child were not as good as we thought.
My last bike that i just traded in had 400 + k on it .The only thing that was wrong with it at the time was the color ye the color . The only thing that i did to that bike was tires brake's and oil changes and of corse air filter & spark plugs . I ran in to the guy that ended up with it he says no trouble at all with it and he loves the color.
Well all i can say is i ride more in a year then most guy's ride in a life time..So i need some thing that dosn't need to be repaired all the time. So i went ahead and bought another goldwing.Its a 2010 navi . Ride your own ride guys and ill see you when you get there.. Be safe

I have a GL1500 honda 2000 full dress. I pull a MCTXL trailer inbehind it geting high 28's to 30 mpg on a good day. Comfortabe for IRONBUTT RUNS if you needed to make one. othere than that good for 700 a day and thats pulshing phisical endurance for me.

Only problem I have pulling the trailer behind my motorcycle is that it starts eating tires after 6 months of high use. HOW CAN WE PREVENT ABNORMAL tire wear besides the normal air pressuer checks? Charlie.

Gotta love them Goldwings. the just keep on ticking along. have to addmit that the other bikes just are not made for the long runs that I do anymore. OIL TIRES, and other general maintance is all I have done on mine and When I bought it It had 96000 on it

After a Lincoln attempted my assination while on my Suzuki...I swore never to ride again..
That lasted till about when I got off crutches, 5 months later...
Picked up a gorgeous replacement last spring....
I love it more than my mother...almost.
IMHO one of the prettiest bikes ever made...

I just love my Dyna Lowrider I call him Bruce. I lowered him down just a tad more and he is so smooth around the corners and nicer to wrap my legs around.

Custom built v-twin I've built the 3 I own and nothing more gratifying then riden something you built all have over 10000 miles on them! One is a trike that has Micky Thompson racing flats on it with a frankinstien a** end on it with a 103 twin cam motor ! The other 2 have ultima 120 ci motors on them both run over 120 horse and 115 torque ! One is a bobber and the other is a pro street racer!

An American Legend, Harley Davidson, Heritage SOFT TAIL or ROAD KING. Like the Sporty Lows too but just not big enuf, and love the old school, PAN HEADS. Became a truck driver to finally purchase my own so hopin to have one by spring. CANT WAIT, already got all the riding gear!

The one thats not riding my blind spot ,also the one that stays in one lane for a minimum of two miles and not bob and weave through rush hour traffic.
Oh, btw...I also like the ones who stay on its two wheels and not on its side, ho,ding up traffic cause some stunt man spilled his brains all over the side walk cause he/she is sooooo cool

I b*tch slap a gsxr1000 around town all the time, can't beat the performance, handling, and braking. It's not stock but close, of course it has upgrades in all 3 areas which a proper motorcycle should.
I ride a lot of bikes, I am a motorcycle tech.

Favorite: my (mixed 83-84-85-86) Honda V65 Magna, I chase down some sport bike guys in the twisties on it... You should see there faces haha.
Riding an 02 Triumph Daytona 955i and 90 Vfr750 now also and each have their own purpose; I like all bikes tho, especially the ones with women pilots

I've owed four different crotch rockets all four where 600's...out of the two Honda's, the R6 and my newest to the collection an 05 ZX6r the ninja is my fav. Rode a few of the 1000's n the don't handle the corners near as well as their little bro's

Sold my H2 750 awhile back, it was fun when it ran. Didn't stop, turn or ride that great but still went like hell when you cranked on it. Most of the younger guys don't know what they are, sounds like a big chainsaw and smokes like all hell. Pure fun.

I LOVE'EM ALL and always will! Started out on a 650 Triumph (don't remember which one) back in approx 1959/60 and am now riding a baby scooter. Hey, it still gets the wind in my face and is a fun little 'round towner. I got a trunk for it so between the under seat storage and the trunk i put on, i can do some serious shopping...can't get out on the highways to do any serious riding anymore though. Someday again...

They started making 650s in 1933 (minus a few years during the WWII) so that could be one of several by 1960. Those bikes were monsters in their day. From 55-70 Triumph had the fastest bikes on the planet. I don't think anybody else has had a run that long, but maybe they have, idk.
