Riding my Fat Tire Bicycle back and forth to the gym 7 miles in Florida and 6 if I go by the Post Office in Alaska, 99% drive their cars waist gas then jump on the treadmill or stationary bikes to BULL SHIP ABOUT HOW GREEN THEY ARE I would LOL but it "ain't" funny.
Unless it is freezing cold, pouring rain, or I am heading out of town after I finish my workout-I bike (OK I'm cheap not green but I hate their two faced crap)

I've done some running and cycling in the past, but my current exercise fave is walking, usually at night with distances between six and ten miles. I try to go as fast as possible. Last night's walk was a personal best of 2:13:52 for ten miles.

Number one favorite: yoga, no matter how long I've been doing it, it kicks my butt every time.
Number two favorite: cycling, I love getting away from people for about 4-5 hours and just focus on my breathing and balance... After 20-30 miles of sweating, the world seems a much better place...

I really like using the treadmill. It could just be I enjoy it because I have one here at my house so it doesn't necessitate me having to travel anywhere to use or worrying about someone impatiently awaiting their turn in a gym environment and boring a hole into the back of my skull with their eyes, wishing me to hurry up and finish my workout.
Does anyone else actually enjoy treadmills with inclines? They seem to be the world's most despised piece of exercise equipment due to the built-in tedium factor and their conspicuous lack of sexiness.
The point at which one has acquired too many pooches....

Bench presses because 1.) I'm somewhat decent at them and 2.) I'm lazy and get to lay down while I do them.

I use 15% incline and the Stair Stepper quite often to prepare for Alaska-climbing in and out of the rivers and just the general walking in the woods is difficult for a Florida Boy up here!

I'll do the incline walk a lot in the winter. I'll read a book or magazine while doing it. I despise running on a treadmill. Monotonous.

Anything that combines a strength and cardio component.
- Burpees (including full push-up). They hit almost every muscle in the body and really tax the heart/lungs too.
- Battle Ropes. 20-30 mins on these makes for one hell of a full body workout. Plus once again, brutal on the heart and lungs.
- Stairs w/ a weighted vest on. Walking every other step with the added weight really blasts the quads, hamstrings, and glutes. Plus once again, BRUTAL on the cardiovascular system.
