Monday - Friday it's a fresh fruit & veggie smoothie with all kinds of super healthy stuff thrown in there.. But, on Saturday it's usually an omlette with mushrooms, zucchini, onions, bell pepper, avocado, cheese and whatever other yummy veggies I picked up at the Farmer's Market.. Then Sunday is gluten-free banana almond pancakes... Oh, I LOVE Sundays...LOL!
I like banana pancakes. The banana needs to be ripe,and man does it moisten them.. sounds yummy mystic.

Tomorrow I'm making either croque madame or eggs goldenrod. They both involve eggs and bechemel sauce, and some sort of pork, but they're different dishes. Both sound good though. Maybe I'll even make some biscuits to go with it, it's cool enough in the morning for the oven. (It's 109 outside here right now, and been over 100 all week.)

I love eggs. Clients give me fresh ones. I eat eggs scrambled with artichoke salsa...dieting and this is low cal and low carb.
Sinful favorites...cornbeef hash and overeasy eggs..maybe once every 3 months at my favorite diner.

Change of pace this morning.
Whole wheat french toast.
I use a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor enhancement.
Butter and maple syrup.
Nothing else but coffee.
Easy and satifying.

coffee is a must. I must agree. went to the little store for bacon on the way home and picked up some pork chops instead.. less inexpensive and lately we have only been doing weekend breakfast anyways beings we both work..might whip up some gravy for the biscuits tomorrow being I am craving gravy..

Dad gum . Those were yard eggs. Yes I have them pretty much as often as possible,but I got some from a neighbor and my gosh they were TASTY..Can't wait to get my own chickens and have them ALL the time..

Ok first timer here. I made my own granola today. Used whole grain instant oats, cranberries, raisins, sliced almonds, brown sugar , cinnamon , and butter. It was really good and definitely going to make variations of it!

I have Austrolope chickens, so I usually have one egg on top of toast around 9-10 am everyday.
Occasionally, I will bring some bacon out and cook it up and make an open faced bacon, egg, toast breakfast. With orange juice.
Coffee is the first thing that goes in my belly to get me going. But at least I eat and enjoy the fruits of my labour here on the farm.

When I have breakfast I usally wash it down with either bottled tea or a soda. I don't drink too much of coffee or milk. I'll drink juice to a certain extinct. But that's mainly it.

Here we dont have a normal everyday or fancy breakfast. It's the same everyday. A hot cereal, eggs, fried taters, fried tamaters, bacon, sausage, ham, gravy, grits, biscuits, and toast or english muffins iffin they want them. Sometimes waffles or pancakes if the ask for them. Everything is fixed then everyone eats what they want when they want.

Good golly miss Molly. I would gain 20 pounds a month because I AM the garbage disposal and can't leave leftovers. But breakfast is the most important meal of the day they say. I know I can not get moving on a weekend before my breakfast.. I do like the bisquits or pancake with my eggs and meat. usually bacon but chops when we splurge. I am now craving fried bologna beings my bud posted he had it for breakfast. Thanks everyone. Man it all sounds great and lets keep it going..

It's almost time to pull out the meat grinder and make sausage again, cheaper to get pork shoulder when it's on sale for under $1.50/pound and do it that way.
Grind coarse, mix in seasonings, grind a second time finer, making patties this time.
Plenty of room, the freezer is empty in anticipation of wild hog and deer.

Man I hear ya. I am also getting a live trap to catch coons. I grind them up and they make an awesome burger etc. It just about takes a deer rifle to shoot them with out them running off,besides I hate wounding animals. In the trap a simple 22 bullet does just fine. Man at the price of pork all ready high and they say it is going to get really high. I am thinking on trapping the ones on our place (wild hogs). If anything, like your saying, make sausage, the wild ones do not have all the fat but pork fat is still cheap to add. I am going to miss bacon. But at 9-12 bucks for descent bacon I will have to pass when it gest higher..

I eat whatever I am in the mood for. Usually a mix of stuff, people call it slop, and people who have served time call it spread. Last I had was some leftover chicken thighs, I pulled the meat off 3, I reseasoned it, threw it in a skillet (if I had more time I would have sauteed some onion, peppers and mushrooms), threw in 3 eggs, and mixed it up and added shredded cheese. Yes I was high.
