....I don't understand the qeastion.
.......by not knowing OP meant by e.d.c.

....but for affordable targit practice and easy maintenance.

I prefer the old Ruger 22. Semi automatic mark II with the bull barrel.

Some one traded me this gun when i was a teenager....it was torn all to pieces and its previous owner couldn't put it back together.

I found it was a mechanical jigsaw puzzle ..but after a few days I figured out where all its parts fit.
It will shoot as fast as i can pull its trigger, without ever jamming
Its old rifle style bolt and firing pin makes it durable.

Its been dropped from truck windows and even a 20 foot bluff ..and like a Timex it still keeps ticking with no problems or loss of accuracy.

IV owned about 30 guns in my life and this one has never given me any trouble throughout the 20 something years IV owned it..

Its highly safe and a great gun for teaching children and women who have no gun experience.

I like larger pistols...but in this era...they come costly to shoot and there isn't as much open outdoors like there was 20and 30 years ago..where IM from.

Personally I prefer my shotgun over any pistol ...and prefer a 306 rifle for any large game hunting.

Just got a new Springfield xds 45 with extended clip. Its a tack driver out of the box. Very little recoil.

My 19 year old daughter even shoots it.

to carry, I have a 5 shot derringer, 22lr. that I can conceal in the palm of my hand, you may think a 22 is too small, but a shot in the face, or center of the chest, the person, is probably going down.

Off topic, but it used to crack me up when I was a kid, when superman would stand in front of a bad guy, have 6rounds bounce off his chest, he wouldn't even blink an eye, but then when the bad guy would throw the empty gun at him, he would duck? - G20 10.

I prefer my glock 35 gen 4 in 40 s&w. Rather a larger model but the I don't need to be as up close and personal. Little farther accuracy to it. Y let'm get that close in the first place?!!!

I prefer the Para 14-45 LDA. I had one until my apt. got broken into while I was at work. Other choices would be a Sig in .45

Always liked a pistol grip Mossberg 12 ga until airsoft came out and I learned that foreign lizards are eating our native ones, I learned how to really shoot a pistol on them-now have a Desert Eagle 44 Mag in Alaska and a 45 auto in Florida and do not need the sights to defend myself. If someone had told me a plastic pellet would have taught me to shoot

I have a custom made. 12ga. Derringer. loaded with one 000 buck and one regular 8 shot. it packs a whollop. but does the job when needed. only used it one time when a guy pulled a knife on me. needless to say the guy is not with the living anymore.
