I am a shy guy who has spent most of his adult life in college and have not had much time for dating until now. I love to read and enjoy watching most movies, though I prefer substantive thrillers, crime drama and independent films. (like any guy I also enjoy sci-fi and action) I enjoy going to museums, cultural festivals, and dabble in drawing and sculpture. I also like roller skating, bowling, and would love to shoot pool again even though I do not have much experience with it. I do enjoy hiking and camping when I have the chance to, and have always wanted to try rock climbing. I am an animal lover as is my room-mate, our house has one cat (mine), one parrot, and two ferrets. I enjoy good food, but am not much of a drinker. I do not smoke or do drugs. I am not looking for a party girl, been there, done that, had enough of it. I have embraced the dork side. I love "big bang theory", and collect sci-fi memorabilia. Like any good dork I enjoy Star Trek.... but I refuse to wear pointy ears or learn how to speak Klingon....( even I had to draw the line at dorkiness somewhere. lol) I enjoy traveling, I have been abroad to Australia, France, Egypt, Greece, and have been to Alaska. I would love to travel more in the future. I love amusement parks and water parks, but not much into the beach as I don't like the feeling of sand in my toes. I do not follow trends or designer labels. If it's clean and without holes and goes with jeans.... that's me.
