West Philly shooting: 7 people, incl. 2 kids critical after gunman ‘randomly’ fires in street
June 21, 2015
At least seven people, including a two-year-old and eleven-year-old child, were injured in West Philadelphia after a shotgun-wielding attacker fired into a street picnic, local police said. The children were hospitalized in critical condition.
The report comes almost simultaneously with news from a block party in Detroit, where one person was killed and 9 injured in a shooting on the same Saturday evening.
It was not immediately clear why the West Philadelphia shooter targeted the block party on Ogden Street, according to local police.
“It looks like they just randomly fired down the street and hit anyone in their way,” NBC 10 Philadelphia quoted Philadelphia Police Lt. John Walker.
The agency added that a shotgun was used to fire at the victims, which included children.
An 18-month-old girl was rushed to Philadelphia’s Children’s Hospital with a neck wound, while another girl, aged 11, was struck in the knee, and a boy, aged 13, took a shot to the shoulder.
Hospitalized in critical condition, the children were all listed as stable, according to the latest update by CBS Philly.
Police later listed the ages of the rest of the victims as 22, 26, 26 and 46. The 26-year-old, a man, was shot multiple times and his condition was unknown.
11 people shot in Detroit on Saturday, 1 fatally
Cassandra Spratling, Detroit Free Press 11:35 p.m. EDT June 20, 2015
In two separate incidents, 11 people were shot in Detroit in a matter of hours Saturday, one fatally.
Ten people were shot at a block party on a basketball court at Webb and Dexter on the city's west side Saturday night. One of those victims died.
Police do not know the reason for the shooting, and are still investigating.
At least three of the victims who were shot were women, ages 30, 45, and 26.
Asst. Chief Steve Dolunt said it's a miracle no children were shot as many were present during the shooting.
Related: Boy, 14, charged with shooting mother in Detroit home
As of 10 p.m. Saturday, police were not releasing the identity of the person who was killed
A 46-year-old man is also in critical condition and two other men, 21 and 26 years old, are in serious condition.
Dolunt said police do not know the reason for the shooting and thus far people at the party were not being cooperative with police seeking information.
He said there was no excuse for shooting when kids were present. There were little kids and strollers, he said. "It's a party," he said.
"I think one individual was the target the others just happened to be at this party," Dolunt said.
One person was detained for questioning, but no suspects are in custody, said Sgt. Cassandra Lewis, public information officer for the police department.
One person remained in critical condition late Saturday night; all other victims had non-life threatening injuries, she said.
In another unrelated incident, one man is in stable condition at a local hospital after being shot during a holdup on a gas station in the 20200 block of Van Dyke on the city's east side.
Like many areas in Detroit, the area where the multiple-victim shooting took place is a mix of two-family flats and 1930s bungalows, many of which appear abandoned or neglected, yet some occupied and maintained. Across the street from the basketball court where the shooting took place is a church.
The shooting comes one day after, and a few miles away from the Linwood and Pingree area where 5th District Detroit City Councilwoman Mary Sheffield launched the "Occupy the Corner Detroit" initiative to combat violence and empower residents to improve the quality of their neighborhoods.

Over 300,000 Rally in Rome Against Gay Marriage
by Oliver Lane21 Jun 20151649
Hundreds of thousands of people travelled from all over Italy and Europe yesterday to protest against the proposed legalisation of gay marriage, and the teaching of ‘gender theories’ in schools.
Gathering in the San Giovanni Square in Rome, with estimates of participants running from 300,000 to a million people, the protest put the ‘anti-Austerity’ protests held in London on the same day to shame, for sheer volume of people and absence of criminal behaviour.
Attendees held aloft banners reading “The family will save the world” and “Let’s defend our children”, as Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi tries to push a civil union bill through parliament.
Hundreds of thousands marched on Rome to protest Gay marriage, and homosexuality being taught in schools
“In my children’s schools they are talking about families made up of two fathers or two mothers, without asking parents’ permission,” said 41-year old doctor Giuseppe Ripa, adding: “It’s dangerous and wrong.”
Fellow protester Piero Uroda, a 78-year-old pharmacist, said it was “not honest to say these things to the very young, it’s not like they are students who can debate these ideas. I don’t want gay marriage or gay adoption, the natural family is like ours”.
The call for Italy to keep pace with its western European neighbours on the issue has grown stronger since Ireland voted overwhelmingly in favour of gay marriage last month.
But rights activists warn it will be no mean feat for the leader of the centre-left Democratic Party to find allies across the political spectrum, blaming an excessive influence of the Catholic clergy on the political class.
Rejecting the assertion, Massimo Gandolfini, spokesman for the “Defend our children!” committee said: “We are asking for families based on marriage be respected, and stressing the central role parents play. We forcefully reject the attempt to sneak into the curriculum projects which aim to destroy children’s sexual identities”.
Matteo Salvini, rising star on the far right and head of ‘Italy’s UKIP’ Northern League party, sent a Facebook “hug for all the mummies and daddies protesting peacefully in Rome to defend their children’s future.”
Vincenzo Brana, head of the long-standing Arcigay gay rights association in Bologna, was quick to score political points on the occasion, pointing out that “today is World Refugee Day”, remarking their problems “are an urgent issue which concerns us all. Those who take to the streets to talk of other things show they are living on another planet, and I would recommend leaving them on that planet alone”.
Italy’s left-wing government is hoping to enact legislation to legalise same-sex unions by the end of July.

Bill Clinton's mentor from Arkansas, J. William Fulbright, was a proud segregationist! And Bill Clinton signed a proclamation authorizing the Confederate flag to fly over the statehouse in Arkansas.
Flashback: As Governor, Bill Clinton Honored Confederacy On Arkansas Flag -Derek Hunter
As the fight to remove the Confederate flag from the state House grounds in South Carolina heats up, politicians are weighing in on the debate.
In 1987, when her husband was governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton signed Act 116 that stated “The blue star above the word “ARKANSAS” is to commemorate the Confederate States of America.” Screen Shot 2015-06-20 at 7.20.37 PM
When the Confederate flag issue arose in the 2000 election, Matt Drudge reported that then-President Bill Clinton’s spokesman Joe Lockhart was asked about the issue. Lockhart told reporters, “I’ve just never heard any discussion or any objections that the president has raised.”
In 2000, Drudge reported Vice President and Democratic nominee Al Gore as accusing then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush of refusing to take a stand on the Confederate flag issue, which then was flying over the capital dome in South Carolina.
Drudge wrote:
The Gore campaign over the weekend repeatedly refused to comment on the vice president’s silence when it comes to the flag flying over the Arkansas State House!
“The vice president will not be commenting on the Arkansas flag,” a campaign rep told the DRUDGE REPORT.
The debate of the Confederate flag resurfaced after the terrorist attack on the Emanuel AME Church that saw nine people slaughtered because of the color of their skin.

And dang, I do vote for Republicans--Not always though--
I found as I grew older --I am a Libertarian--
When I was in the third grade I thought that I was gay,
'Cause I could draw, my uncle was, and I kept my room straight.
I told my mom, tears rushing down my face
She's like "Ben you've loved girls since before pre-k, trippin'."
Yeah, I guess she had a point, didn't she?
Bunch of stereotypes all in my head.
I remember doing the math like, "Yeah, I'm good at little league."
A preconceived idea of what it all meant
For those that liked the same sex
Had the characteristics
The right wing conservatives think it's a decision
And you can be cured with some treatment and religion
Man-made rewiring of a predisposition
Playing God, aw nah here we go
America the brave still fears what we don't know
And "God loves all his children" is somehow forgotten
But we paraphrase a book written thirty-five-hundred years ago
I don't know
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
My love
My love
My love
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
If I was gay, I would think hip-hop hates me
Have you read the YouTube comments lately?
"Man, that's gay" gets dropped on the daily
We become so numb to what we're saying
A culture founded from oppression
Yet we don't have acceptance for 'em
Call each other f*ggots behind the keys of a message board
A word rooted in hate, yet our genre still ignores it
Gay is synonymous with the lesser
It's the same hate that's caused wars from religion
Gender to skin color, the complexion of your pigment
The same fight that led people to walk outs and sit ins
It's human rights for everybody, there is no difference!
Live on and be yourself
When I was at church they taught me something else
If you preach hate at the service those words aren't anointed
That holy water that you soak in has been poisoned
When everyone else is more comfortable remaining voiceless
Rather than fighting for humans that have had their rights stolen
I might not be the same, but that's not important
No freedom 'til we're equal, damn right I support it
(I don't know)
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
My love
My love
My love
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
We press play, don't press pause
Progress, march on
With the veil over our eyes
We turn our back on the cause
'Til the day that my uncles can be united by law
When kids are walking 'round the hallway plagued by pain in their heart
A world so hateful some would rather die than be who they are
And a certificate on paper isn't gonna solve it all
But it's a damn good place to start
No law is gonna change us
We have to change us
Whatever God you believe in
We come from the same one
Strip away the fear
Underneath it's all the same love
About time that we raised up... sex
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
My love
My love
My love

She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm

Black College Student Wins Fight to Display Confederate Flag in Dorm Room
Dec. 2, 2011 10:59am Madeleine Morgenstern
A black college student has won the fight to keep a Confederate flag in his dorm room after school officials initially told him to take it down.

The University of South Carolina Beaufort told 19-year-old Byron Thomas on Thursday he could keep the flag up, after the freshman was told two weeks ago to remove it because of student complaints.
University spokeswoman Candace Brasseur told the Beaufort Gazette that Thomas was initially asked to remove the flag because it violates a student code of conduct discouraging bigotry, but the school’s legal counsel ultimately advised the university to allow him to display the flag.
When he was first told in November to take the flag down, Thomas posted a four-minute video on YouTube saying he views the Confederate flag as a sign of Southern pride, not of racism, and was not going to remove it. The video was re-posted on CNN’s iReport, where it has been viewed more than 70,000 times.
“It’s not racist for me,” Thomas, a Georgia native, said in the video. “All it is is a symbol that I see as a sign of respect, and people don’t want to see it that way.”
Before the school relented, Thomas said he felt his First Amendment rights were being violated, and said he considered legal action if he was not allowed to display the flag.
A class project made him come to the realization that the flag’s real meaning has been hijacked, he told the Associated Press in an interview. He said he wants people to carefully consider issues of race and not just have knee-jerk reactions to symbols.
“When I look at this flag, I don’t see racism. I see respect, Southern pride,” he told the AP. “This flag was seen as a communication symbol” during the Civil War.
Thomas said he also dislikes the term “African American” because it makes him feel like a half-citizen.
“I was not born in Africa, I was born in Augusta, Georgia,” he said in the video.
Thomas said he’s received a huge outpouring of support since the ordeal began.
“I’ve been getting a lot of support from people. My generation is interested in freedom of speech,” Thomas said.
He said he talked to his parents — who grew up amid the Civil Rights movement — once the uproar started and said they weren’t happy about his decision to display it, though that probably won’t keep him from putting it up again.
“I don’t want to make my parents mad,” he said. “I may wait until Monday to put it up.”

Huffington Post Writer Won’t Have Kids to Avoid Spreading White Privilege
By Steve Straub
If you needed more proof that liberalism is a form of insanity look no further than this excerpt from an article written by a Huffington Post writer who appears to be in a lot of distress:
Via the Huffington Post:
[Rachel Dolezal] is an extreme example of a common phenomenon. The “immersion” stage is typified by White people taking more responsibility for racism and privilege and often experiencing high levels of anger and embarrassment for racism and privilege, which they sometimes direct towards other Whites. They sometimes try to immerse themselves in communities of color, as Dolezal did. She’s not alone.
I definitely experienced this. There was a time in my 20s when everything I learned about the history of racism made me hate myself, my Whiteness, my ancestors… and my descendants. I remember deciding that I couldn’t have biological children because I didn’t want to propagate my privilege biologically.

just another fine example of the double standards alive and prospering the looneyleftyliberals and the dimdumdems
"If any one of the current band of 2016 Republican presidential hopefuls was faced with just one such allegation, chances are they would be shamed and forced out of the race, hounded by a news media and a political opposition that would not let them talk about anything else."
The Clintons, immune to scandal
OPINION | The Clintons have been largely immune to scandals that would have killed most political careers.
Ever since Bill and Hillary Clinton publicly inoculated themselves on CBS's "60 Minutes" on Super Bowl Sunday in 1992 by admitting to "problems" in their marriage, they have been largely immune from a steady stream of maladies that might have killed most politicians.
From Gennifer Flowers to Paula Jones to Monica Lewinsky, it helped them survive a series of so-called "bimbo eruptions" — as Betsey Wright, Bill Clinton's deputy campaign chair in 1992, referred to them — that could have blocked or ended Bill's presidency.
As a bonus side-effect, the injected serum produced a thick skin and the keen ability to display pluck, defiance, combativeness and a skill for bending the truth that helped weather a long string of '90s scandals and controversies. They included Bill Clinton's past efforts to avoid the military draft during the Vietnam War, the questionable Whitewater land deal, various controversial presidential pardons, playing fast and loose with campaign fundraising rules, mishandling FBI background files on Republicans and "renting" the Lincoln bedroom to contributors.
And now, that serum seems still effective against a fusillade of charges focused on Hillary Clinton's secretive handling of her emails while secretary of State, her reaction to the Benghazi attack in Libya, her high-priced speaking fees and the financial sleight of hand between the couple's charitable foundation and foreign donors seeking approvals from the U.S. government while she was in the Obama Cabinet.
If any one of the current band of 2016 Republican presidential hopefuls was faced with just one such allegation, chances are they would be shamed and forced out of the race, hounded by a news media and a political opposition that would not let them talk about anything else.
But Hillary Clinton skates on in her 2016 Democratic bid for the White House largely immune. Despite the well-publicized controversies, polls show that although ratings of her character and integrity have taken a big hit, she still would beat any one of her many potential GOP rivals in the 2016 election. The serum is still potent.
It wasn't long ago that far-smaller transgressions than the Clintons' brought lightning-quick ends to presidential candidacies. Hillary Clinton need look no farther than the current vice president, Joe Biden, who had his 1988 run for the Democratic presidential nomination brought down in flames in 1987 by charges of plagiarism and exaggeration of his academic record.
Democratic front-runner Sen. Gary Hart (Colo.) was chased out earlier that same year for having an extramarital affair with model Donna Rice.
And the end came quickly. An embarrassed Biden quit the race just two weeks after the plagiarism charges surfaced. A defiant Hart was out in less than a week, only to return six months later in a woeful comeback attempt.
Biden, then a U.S. senator, said in his dropout statement that the incessant pressure from the news media hampered his ability to campaign and at the same time chair the Senate Judiciary Committee, which was then considering President Reagan's controversial nomination of Robert Bork to the Supreme Court.
Some might argue that Biden and Hart flopped in a far different time, and that such behaviors might be more easily tolerated in today's evolving live-and-let-live atmosphere. But then again, New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D) resigned in 2008 when it was revealed that he hired prostitutes. And New York Rep. Anthony Weiner (D) quit his House seat in 2011 after texting suggestive photos and messages to young women. Ironically, Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, is a top aide in Hillary Clinton's campaign.
Which brings us back to the Clintons, and more specifically Hillary and her various ethical and veracity problems, not to mention questions about her competence to serve in the highest office in the land. By far, the most serious allegation against the Clintons is that they extorted millions of dollars in speaking fees and six-figure donations to their charitable foundation in return for State Department favors while Hillary was secretary of State.
If that could be proved, such behavior might bring criminal charges and possibly prison terms. But with Hillary Clinton having sole control of her government and personal emails, and having said that she destroyed those emails she deemed personal, legal proof of a quid pro quo would be nearly impossible to secure. The only other way would be if donors were willing to talk under oath in exchange for immunity from prosecution.
A recent high-profile case has some parallels. Former Virginia Gov. Robert F. McDonnell (R), a rising GOP star, and his wife, Maureen, were found guilty last year of public corruption after they were charged with providing preferred government treatment to Johnnie Williams Sr., a businessman with a dietary supplement to sell. Federal prosecutors charged that Williams bribed the McDonnells for state favors with golf outings, fancy vacations, expensive gifts such as a Rolex watch and $120,000 in sweetheart loans. Williams, who had immunity, testified against the McDonnells, saying they helped him set up meetings with state officials to pitch his product.
The gifts and loans to the McDonnells are chickenfeed compared to the money lavished on the Clintons and their foundation. Yet, the McDonnells, whose convictions are on appeal, are facing prison terms. No federal prosecutors appear eager to look into the Clintons' case, as they were to investigate the McDonnells. Could that be because President Obama is their boss?
Talk about immunity.

The debate of the Confederate flag resurfaced after the terrorist attack on the Emanuel AME Church that saw nine people slaughtered because of the color of their skin.

why don't you get the facts straight we have no confederate flags flying over any state house in arkansas 1 blue star really..it was to represent history of the state..
acusing 1 blue star is as absurd as several years ago ..people saying the cartoon with the purple tinky winky was gay
confederacy is part of the souths history no more no less..
besides that bill clinton has fought a lot for equal rights...his hero growing up was actually john f. kennedy...not fulbright...why don't you talk about your own state...freedom rights are being taken away everyday from people that have nothing to do with these killings.somethings get carried just to far..

FBI Files Document Communism in Valerie Jarrett’s Family
JUNE 22, 2015
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government.
Jarrett’s dad, pathologist and geneticist Dr. James Bowman, had extensive ties to Communist associations and individuals, his lengthy FBI file shows. In 1950 Bowman was in communication with a paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage. Bowman was also a member of a Communist-sympathizing group called the Association of Internes and Medical Students. After his discharge from the Army Medical Corps in 1955, Bowman moved to Iran to work, the FBI records show.
According to Bowman’s government file the Association of Internes and Medical Students is an organization that “has long been a faithful follower of the Communist Party line” and engages in un-American activities. Bowman was born in Washington D.C. and had deep ties to Chicago, where he often collaborated with fellow Communists. JW also obtained documents on Bowman from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) showing that the FBI was brought into investigate him for his membership in a group that “follows the communist party line.” The Jarrett family Communist ties also include a business partnership between Jarrett’s maternal grandpa, Robert Rochon Taylor, and Stern, the Soviet agent associated with her dad.
Jarrett’s father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, was also another big-time Chicago Communist, according to separate FBI files obtained by JW as part of a probe into the Jarrett family’s Communist ties. For a period of time Vernon Jarrett appeared on the FBI’s Security Index and was considered a potential Communist saboteur who was to be arrested in the event of a conflict with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). His FBI file reveals that he was assigned to write propaganda for a Communist Party front group in Chicago that would “disseminate the Communist Party line among…the middle class.”
It’s been well documented that Valerie Jarrett, a Chicago lawyer and longtime Obama confidant, is a liberal extremist who wields tremendous power in the White House. Faithful to her roots, she still has connections to many Communist and extremist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood. Jarrett and her family also had strong ties to Frank Marshal Davis, a big Obama mentor and Communist Party member with an extensive FBI file.
JW has exposed Valerie Jarrett’s many transgressions over the years, including her role in covering up a scandalous gun-running operation carried out by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Last fall JW obtained public records that show Jarrett was a key player in the effort to cover up that Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress about the Fast and Furious, a disastrous experiment in which the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) allowed guns from the U.S. to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels. Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of hundreds of weapons which have been used in an unknown number of crimes, including the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent in Arizona.
In 2008 JW got documents linking Valerie Jarrett, who also served as co-chairman of Obama’s presidential transition team, to a series of real estate scandals, including several housing projects operated by convicted felon and Obama fundraiser/friend Antoin “Tony” Rezko. According to the documents obtained from the Illinois Secretary of State, Valerie Jarrett served as a board member for several organizations that provided funding and support for Chicago slum projects operated by Rezko.

Wal-Mart bootlickers dump the Confederate Flag, but still sell a Communist mass killer's merchandise! Che Guevara hated blacks (and homosexuals!) and killed thousands of them.
The post is about WAL-MART refusing to sell this flag, which never killed ANYONE and continuing to profit off of CHE GUEVARA PROPAGANDA MERCHANDISE. Do you have any idea how brutal, sadistic and murderous Che Guevara was????
CALL THE BASTARDS! The hypocrisy is glaring!

So far the retailers banning the flag are: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Sears, Target, and Spencer Gifts...
...but then there's the Dixie Flag Company in--you guessed it--Texas.

Benghazi panel chairman: State Dept. didn't hand over requested emails
"State Department either has them or they do not. Every request to State is met with delay, a request for extension and pleading to narrow the scope," said Benghazi committee chairman Trey Gowdy. "The reality is the State Department under both Secretaries Kerry and Clinton has failed in its obligation to provide transparency for the American people and congressional investigators.”" Trey Gowdy says.

The Pope's "Science Advisor" Is an Atheist Who Worships the Earth
June 23, 2015
RUSH: My friends, not one to let things go, I have dug deep, and I have found out practically everything there is to know about the science advisor to Pope Francis on this encyclical. And the main thing you need to know, the guy's an atheist.
The word for it in the story that I found, one of the most credible stories, is a pantheist, which is a variation of atheist. A pantheist is somebody that believes the earth is a living organism that has the equivalent of a brain and reacts to horrible things done to it by humans.
Not by lions and not by tigers and not by chimpanzees or any other animal or plant, but only humans. And the earth compensates for all of the rotten, horrible things. The primary belief of a pantheist is that everything that happens in climate or weather is the earth intelligently reacting to egregious acts and behavior by man, and, of course in this view, the earth becomes the deity and there is no God.
The earth is an intelligent living and breathing organism with self-protection built in to compensate for the daily destructive tendencies of humanity. This is the guy who was the lead science advisor for Pope Francis on the global warming and climate change aspects of his encyclical.
The Scientific Pantheist Who Advises Pope Francis
The scientist who influenced Laudato Si, and who serves at the Vatican's science office, seems to believe in Gaia, but not in God.

TO ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AND FANS FROM BEN JONES AKA “COOTER”
I THINK ALL OF HAZZARD NATION UNDERSTANDS THAT THE CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG IS THE SYMBOL THAT REPRESENTS THE INDOMITABLE SPIRIT OF INDEPENDENCE WHICH KEEPS US “MAKIN’ OUR WAY THE ONLY WAY WE KNOW HOW.”
THAT FLAG ON TOP OF THE GENERAL LEE MADE A STATEMENT THAT THE VALUES OF THE RURAL SOUTH WERE THE VALUES OF COURAGE AND FAMILY AND GOOD TIMES.
OUR BELOVED SYMBOL IS NOW BEING ATTACKED IN A WAVE OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS THAT IS UNPRECEDENTED IN OUR NATION OF FREE SPEECH AND FREE EXPRESSION. ACTIVISTS AND POLITICIANS ARE VILLIFYING SOUTHERN CULTURE AND OUR HERITAGE AS BEING BIGOTED AND RACIST. WE KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT THE CASE. AND WE KNOW THAT IN HAZZARD COUNTY THERE WAS NEVER ANY RACISM.
THOUGH THE FLAG HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM SUCH PLACES AS WALMART, TARGET AND AMAZON, IT WILL NEVER BE REMOVED FROM ANY OF OUR COOTER’S STORES AND MUSEUMS. WE ARE ALL THE SAME GOOD PEOPLE TODAY THAT WE WERE LAST WEEK AND LAST YEAR AND WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE SHAMED INTO TURNING OUR BACKS ON OUR HERITAGE AND OUR CONVICTIONS.
WE ARE NOT RACISTS. WE DESPISE RACISM AND BIGOTRY. AND WE THINK THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CREATING THIS “CULTURAL CLEANSING” ARE THE REAL BIGOTS IN THIS STORY.
WHEN WE SAY OUR FLAG STANDS FOR “HERITAGE, NOT HATE” AND “PRIDE, NOT PREJUDICE”, WE MEAN IT. AND WE BELIEVE THAT OLD SAYING, “YOU CAN’T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING IF YOU FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM.”
COOTER’S IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO SELL OUR SOUTHERN SYMBOLS AS LONG AS THERE IS A COOTER’S. I WILL FIGHT THESE PEOPLE UNTIL HELL FREEZES OVER, AND THEN I WILL FIGHT THEM ON THE ICE.

Amazon Bans Confederate Flags, Still Sells Nazi Merchandise
by Breitbart News24 Jun 2015180
Online retail giant Amazon’s Monday decision to ban the sale of merchandise depicting the Confederate flag has many Americans scratching their heads, as a quick review of Amazon’s site reveals the company still sells Nazi flags.
Amazon has yet to announce if and when it plans on banning these and several other Nazi-related items depicting symbols associated with the slaughter of 6,000,000 Jews.

Being a Northern Gal, I never saw the Confederate flag as offensive. It's people who attach double meanings or show it while doing something offensive that is the problem.
I will not give up my cross if I want to wear it. I don't care if the muslims find it offensive.

Zoe--You were raised in the North.
My father was born in Chicago, Illinois. When he first moved here, he was flabbergasted--when he saw "Colored Only" restrooms and drinking fountains. Also, whites were not allowed to sit in the back of the bus--that was reserved for blacks only.
The Confederate flag - represents a time that needs to be put to rest. I have no problem with anyone displaying them--on their personal property. But, in the state Capitols--not so much.
The state of Florida retired the Confederate flag from flying over it's Capitol building in 2001. The flags commemorating the French, Spanish and British governments that once ruled the state and flew beside the Confederate flag also were removed. All four are now housed at the Florida Museum of History a few blocks from the Capitol.
Many may be surprised--but, it was a Republican, who had all the above flags removed from my state. Jeb Bush--like, I said--He was a very good governor.
We need someone NEW--who can not falter to the big corporations--oil, banks, etc.
We need to go back to WE the people--Just, not a few.

That's my opinion and I stand by it. Some feel it represents the men and women who lost their lives during the war. It meant they were strong and proud, nothing more.
Where you sit on a bus has nothing to do with a flag.
We fly all sorts of things at our capital. There will be a hemp flag soon, to promote hemp, lol.

That is fine Zoe--
But, I have no problem with it being on their property--
The seat of the state's government--NO.
By the way, You missed the point--
This was in the early 60's here. Yes, blacks in the south were told WE (as in whites were better.)
The KKK used this - nah, no symbol of pride in their ancestors. It was pride in HATE for people of a different race.

Btw~ you missed (but proved) MY point: It's people who attach double meanings to the flag or show it while doing something offensive, THAT is the problem.
Do we protest when they fly the hemp flag at our state house? Marijuana and hemp are different varieties of the same species of plant, Cannabis. Are we promoting pot use?
That was rhetorical.

No Zoe--
It is a symbol of hate when it flies above our Capitol--
Think for yourself--
Get that image in your mind of all the lynchings in the South-All done while holding the Confederate flag-
Your friends can say it is a symbol of their ancestry -- But, when it is hung in any government building it is a symbol of hatred.
They are in denial.
Think for yourself.
Like I said--They can fly it high and with their pride--
Just keep out out of my place of government and worship--
And as for your cross--I will stand behind God any day.
Just as "In God WE trust."
I will succumb to the God of love--not hate--

The hemp flag really--
I don't smoke pot--Never found it ever did a good thing in my life.
Last time I smoked it, I was 15. Had a bad experience with it--and quite frankly, I have no want or need for it in my life.
Medical marijuana legal--You betcha--
But, still never had the need for it--even when late hubby was dying--
Just another excuse for bad behavior in my opinion--
Please, you really are going to equate the Confederate flag to a hemp flag--
Last time I looked, hemp made people happy--Racism made people hate--
But, no--I feel the ONLY flag that should fly in any government place is this one--
In my mind, justice for all--does not include lynchings.

No, I said hemp is not pot, it just comes from the same plant family.
I cannot speak for the people who actually lived in the South for generations. They, all races, see it differently than us.
I was speaking of what the flag meant to me growing up. The Rebel was our mascot. It meant courage, honor and a fighting spirit. I was south of the city.
I have a brain and can think for myself, thank you. Just because you don't understand someone or they see things differently, it doesn't mean they are stupid or wrong.
Bye!

Oh my goodness- I sat and watched--I knew you would respond after careful thinking--
Just as I thought--You are so afraid of what your so called friends will think--Oh, and as Sorp would say--the bandwagons--will think.
You are full of it--You know dang well they have hate in their hearts.
You choose -- to believe or should I say follow them.
You speak of individuality and speaking up for those less fortunate. They hate blacks--Good ole Purp and RF--They can wave that ole Confederate flag all they want. But, truth is--the world has changed and see it for the hatred it signifies.
I don't give a care what they have in front of their homes. Just, care that they seem to think many do not see them for who they are. I will call them on it.
And dang, poor RF being in the hospital--but on DH at the same time--LOL
He has me blocked--doesn't mean chit to me--But, please--he is so friggin fake.
He plays you--You just don't get it--
I have been in the hospital a few times--Let me tell you--I never signed on to DH--
As for goodbye to me--
You showed me who you were in the private email about how you showed someone who someone was-
Let me tell you--At least SHE thinks for herself.
And, your post about telling Tom to be careful of me--
Just another reason you are not who you pretend to be.
Don't care who Tom is--But, I have came to one conclusion--He resembles a female on here with his posts.
You know the one who has a doctorate degree and doesn't know the difference between there and their and want and won't.--
Like I said--just sit back and watch--

Rest in peace old banner of war, carrying thirteen stars. Layed on two crossed bars
With a field of red.
For all who fought and died and bled.
To some it a symbol of hate.
Others can't see it and relate
And to some its only history.
To me it's the heart of Dixie.
In time it became stubborn southern pride.
Not meant for hate to abide.
Haters turned it into a shame. White robes and a cross aflame.
Innocent people who accepted all.
Gathering in peace took the fall.
Among them a venomous snake.
Devil filled man other life's he did take.
Image of the man waving that old flag.
He had took it and turned into a bloody rag.
So many good folks lost their pride.
With tear in the eye the day once again that old Dixie died.
Rest in peace Old man of the south.
No more with prejudice open your mouth.
In your hearts the joys of Dixieland.
And with that song our souls will still stand.
As that misunderstood old cloth of red, white, and blue.
Fades away in the eyes of the nation's news.
Southern gents and the sweet lady bellies
Without prejudice always in them hold the rebel yell.
6-4-15 AGAIN DIXIE DIES BY TOM NO HATE NO PREJUDICE AND WITH HOPE I WROTE. AS SOMEONE ONCE SAID "CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG"

that poem is very poignent tom..i appreciste it...typos don't need forgiven in my eyes...everyone makes them even the perfect..
in the poem the news is to let it die???
they won't do that they are part of and most of the problemm.
they knew what they done when the only picture they broadcast of that young man was holding that flag..
now you know they could have shown a different 1...did they no...
have they kept it in the news evertime...yes..
why don't they concentrate more on the family's that lost loved 1's??
and also not stir up more in several states about there state flags??
but there are prophesies in the bible that have to pass..before we all leave this earth...
so evil does exist in this world and many things to come to pass....GOD bless all our souls..

The History of the Middle Finger:
Well, now......here's something I never knew before, and now that I know it, I feel compelled to send it on to my more intelligent friends in the hope that they, too, will feel edified.
Before the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, the French, anticipating victory over the English, proposed to cut off the middle finger of all captured English soldiers. Without the middle finger it would be impossible to draw the renowned English longbow and therefore they would be incapable of fighting in the future. This famous English longbow was made of the native English Yew tree, and the act of drawing the longbow was known as 'plucking the yew' (or 'pluck yew').
Much to the bewilderment of the French, the English won a major upset and they began mocking the French by waving their middle fingers at the defeated French, saying, See, we can still pluck yew! Since 'pluck yew' is rather difficult to say, the difficult consonant cluster at the beginning has gradually changed to a labiodentalfricative 'F', and thus the words often used in conjunction with the one-finger-salute! It is also because of the pheasant feathers on the arrows used with the longbow that the symbolic gesture is known as 'giving the bird.'
And yew thought yew knew every plucking thing. Didn't yew!!

Matches don't start fires, guns don't kill people. It's the mean person behind them that causes the problem.

And yes, you did say it--all the degrees you had.
Must have been one of those braggart moments you had.
You know how it is--sometimes we forget what we say--
And you can't read--I said YOU can raise that flag anywhere on your property you want to.
Reading Comprehension 101-
you need to re-read your post several times..you are the 1 that forgets..cause you can't stand or face the way you are..
braggart....i have nothing to brag about
peep's on here talk about their life..so others get to know them..
you also said rf and i are racist and have hate in our heart's..
apparently you forgot what you said..
there is saying stuff then just plain awfull and stupidity showing threw..
did you forget what you said
how can you post back if you don't read.? sra..

I have a very good memory..I never said that period about degree's.
i get out what i have to say then it's over...why don't you move on to a happier place..
you are so negative............that it is depressing..
no 1 come in and agreed with what you said before..
and i figure they won't this time.
all you are doing is showing your bass..
I feel embarresed for you..
also I am not tom... lol I have talked to him and he is not me
as a patient and a nurse by the way..seeing both sides...it gets scarey and boring for patient"s when not allowed to get out of bed..you know on bedrest...
there are magazine's tv,puzzles and visitor's what else...nurses constantly doing something to you..
why should someone not inform friend's of how they are haveing what company they can...easy if they post from a cell phone.especially in icu..

and yes i met rf in person 4 year's ago..he is not the person several tried to make him...
just cannot fit a square peg in a round hole no matter how hard you try

Just like to add to the affidavit that I had on ly been in the 50's groups a couple of day's and was attacked by heart. The only reason was because I was joking with Purp. I just ignored her rants, so she blocked me from seeing her posts. I hope she can get some help for her mania.

Dear Diary,
I want to apologize, to all the people who have been nice to me, for allowing her to attack you in my safe thread. I tend to feel bad for the attackers even though they bring it on themselves. I will not happen again.
I, and my friends, have been called evil yet your friend taunts me about my dad's death. We all have an idea who that friend is.
You may think you have a connection with each other but all you have is bitterness. It seems a lot has to do with my friendships and your jealously of my friends.
Your dishonesty and disrespect drove him away, it had nothing to do with me. You threw away a very special relationship, but I did not. He is my friend and ALWAYS will be. You all need to let go and move on.
My mom told me to tell you I am an angel. I told her I would also add you are a doody head, poopy face and she laughed.
I am posting it here for the offenders to see.
