Have you tried putting an ad in the paper? The last time I lost my mind I put an ad in the Classifieds that went something like this:

We can compare recipes for Mussels Marinara Fra Diavola. I'm told I make it really well even though I am not a fan of mussels.
Funny, although not big on mussels, I could probably eat my weight in steamed clams.
There might still be some red clam sauce left in the freezer from the last time I made it. Want some? My daughter may have snagged it when she was last here.

In my opinion one or two new haiku writers per week
are the/your bump. People find this thread when they are
not sure what else to do or where else to go. From this
starting space, they find a new format from which to
express themselves.
That in itself, is a gift.
Haiku, although poetic, is a form of mental exercise.
Exercise, be it mental or physical gives one a positive
and or negative form of expression. This form of
expression helps to release, or shall I say temper one's
feelings, kind of like the valve on a pressure cooker.
It kind of gives one a place to express (but it takes thought)
where others can choose to partake or ignore.
Many beautiful ideas and wishes have grown and been expressed
from this thread and others have been motivated to find the
Haihu voice within to express their hearts.
This may not be in the form of a Haiku, but I think this
is an important space or release, for those who use it. As the
number of posters wax and wane, life is just providing
new experiences to examine, learn from and to reflect on...
which may be the fodder for the next great haiku.
Again just my opinion. Be well Sorp and all that visit
Haiku Central.

My daughter and her husband left last night for Chicago.
They spent the night up there and then went to the Cubs game today.
I have a one and two year old keeping me company today.
