Hell no, I'm a proud atheist. I see religion as a crutch for the human mind and the weak who need reassured how much good they do. Also, all religion is just a coping mechanism, the only difference is where you're situated. (I attended church for 12 years with family, and I came out with my own opinion on the matter) Religion is a joke

Oh you dim witted, single-minded christians. Do not read this for after you finish I would love for you to point out any flaws to my argument, I love a good debate. I see god as an impossibility, there just might be a higher being out there, but it is not the christian god or a god from any other religion. As human beings, our minds have created religion as a comfort mechanism in the face of death. If we tell ourselves we believe then we get to meet all of our lost loved ones in heaven for eternity, how splendid! Also, as beings of intellectuall thought, it is human nature to be able to answer whatever questions we may have and just what is the greatest question of all? Why, where we came from exactly! Religion gives a "simple" answer to this question, why the earth was created in just six mere days, miraculous! Also, the bible states how god knows everything and anything about his creations, he knows the number of hairs on their heads, and he knows what decisions they will make before we are ever born. So tell me, how is it that free will actually exists under those circumstances? How can people choose what they want to do if it has already been planned out for them? Which brings me to my next point, if god knows everything and anything about said person before they are born, then why does he create murderers, rapists, or gays? All people, who under biblical terms are to be sent to burn forever in hell fire? So before these people are even born, god has made it his plan to deem these souls to hell before they have even taken their first breath? If you choose to ignore this, then now you are just being naive and not using your brains for their existence and that is to think for ourselves. You do not need religion to have good morals or values. I have seen so many said "christians" that are such hypocrites that it is disgusting, as disgusting as christianity itself. Also without religion, the world would be much better off. There is so much avoidable hate in this world that comes from just people hating one another just for what religion they associate themselves with. Now, if you still believe, then more power to you because I need more proof than just a few do good parables in a book that were written thousands of years ago. It really is just so laughable to me

The universe itself is evidence that God exists. Let’s think about this for a moment. There are only three options to explain the existence of the universe. One, that it has always been. Two, that it created itself. Three, that it was created. The first option, that the universe is eternal, has been utterly rejected by the scientific community. The motion of the galaxies, the background radiation echo, and other evidences all overwhelmingly point to the fact that the universe sprang into existence at a particular point in time. Option two, that the universe created itself, is philosophically impossible. Of course, before the universe existed it would not have been around to do the creating. Obviously, a non-existent universe could not have done anything! It did not exist. We all know that nothing can not do something. Nothing is nothing. Nothing cannot see, smell, act, think, or create. So option one and two can be thrown out on scientific and philosophical grounds. Option three, that something or someone outside of the universe created the universe, is the option that both reason and the evidence point to.

Let’s imagine I am holding up a painting. When you see a painting, what proof do you need to establish the fact that a painter exists? Nothing besides the painting itself. The painting is absolute proof that there was a painter. You do not need to see the painter to believe that he or she exists. The painting is all the evidence you need. It would not be there if the painter did not exist, and so it is with the universe. The existence of the universe itself proves absolutely that there is a creator.

If you would have taken the time to read my post as I did with yours, you would have noticed that I said that there is more than likely some form of higher being possibly responsible for us. My issue is that it is not god of Christianity or from any other religion and to think otherwise is completely idiotic and naiev. That is the beautiful thing about our universe, nobody, not one single person knows how or why it came to be. To think that someone knows how everything in its entirety was created (Christians) and how things work, those people are just in over their heads who THINK they have an understanding of this world. When in all reality, when it comes down to it, they really do not know a damn thing. That in itself is hard for people to grasp and that's where you get Christians or religious folk. Myself on the other hand, has no problem accepting the fact that I do not know how things came to be, but I'm not going to let some old book dictate my whole life when more than likely it is entirely wrong

yes I do. I may not be the typical christian of sun church sun night church wed church, etc but I do believe in a far greater power than just myself/humanity. But make no mistake the devil/demons believe also so theres more to it than just believing in God. One has to walk the walk and live it.
