Wow I really can't believe this thread. Opening her door is really not that hard of a thing to do and would likely go a long way with her. I know it makes me feel so good when it happens.

EXACTLY!!!! IT IS NOT THAT HARD. we are not handicapped, but its just the principle. It shows that there is still some chivalry in men... we like it. but hey, to each its own. A man who wants a lady, will act like a gentleman. A man who wants a dude, will act like she is her boy... oh well

Women are superior to men now so they ought to be opening the door for US to insure that the door is opened HER way. (No, no I didn't know there was more than one way either. ) I would think the your average rabid feminist who claims to be completely independent of men could handle the chore herself to prove her superiority, but really she ought to be opening the door for the inferior man just to thank him for putting up with her, if only for an evening. (REALLY, how much can one guy take?)

I will open a door only if I know she is going to give me some. They wanted to be like men thanks to women's lib so its time for them to open a door for me and treat me like a man now a servant slave to her every whim.

Ok guys, how many of you do this? It's so simple and effortless yet it can mean so much to a woman. Most of the time she will look at you like you just depleted world hunger single handedly. Let us know why not if you refuse.
it is the least that i can do after the road head on the way there.

I'm sorry to hear that.
My day was fine. I went to my pre-evening/night swimming class. I got the timing for the breast stroke down so I'm happy as hell. I feel the muscles in my "batwings" so I'm happy about that.

The local community college is borrowing the pool from my old highschool because it's indoor. The school was rebuilt a year or so ago.
When I went all we had was some damn bungaloos but NOW they fools look like they go to Sweet Valley High.

I think it says a lot about a man and his respect for women. Some men are too shallow to consider opening a door. Their more into receiving than giving. Most gentleman realize that if you meet a woman's emotional needs then she will definitely meet a man's physical needs. A man with a gentle heart and strong mind speaks volumes to me.

of course being too nice and gentelmenly shows the less masculine side of a man and then a lot of women see this as a weakness. We have to stay balanced ladies.

Hell I'll open the door for anyone it's just courteous if you get there first. I try to open it for a lady but sometimes they just beat me to it if they wait I'll definitely get it for them.
