hold on to your hats, I've got you all beat. I had a 1970 Cadallic Elderodo Fleetwood With the 500 mobile home big block, and it came with a Elbrock 850 double pumper 4 barrel. i swear it was one hell of a fun car but it not only made me cry when i had to fill it up , but the gas station pumps as well. i just watched as the gas guage droped between engine idles alone. and if you reved the throttle up, you lost a quarter tank threw the exhaust. 
Still not beating the 40 gph cat i use....

1979 Ford F150 Ranger with the 460 V8. But I thought "that's not enough abuse on my wallet". So I pulled the 460 out and dropped in a 502 with Edelbrook high rise intake and 675 CFM 4 barrel carb. I drove the truck a total of 2 miles per day in high school. that was back when gas was 1.50 per gallon. And everyday I was putting another 10 bucks in the tank. It got such bad mileage I one time pulled into a full service and had the truck running because it was cold. The guy filling honestly told me to shut it off cause he couldn't keep up. Shot Rev the engine and he gets sucked in. I loved that truck! Ran the 1/4 mile in 9 seconds flat!

Well, stock it got around 14 but I put a 2000 silverado 5.3 on 37s and I went down to around 6 a gallon

1985 K5 Blazer with a 383stroker 6" lift. Monster a** tires. TWO Edelbrock 850cfm carbs and ran on Howel Superior H 107 only. 2 gallons to the mile!!!!

But it would smoke the tire right off the rim at any given time. Even doing 30 mph it would boil the tire.
