1969 Buick Le Sabre. 350 4 barrel. That thing could pass anything but a gas station.

I bought it for $50.00 because it had a broken flex plate. After I replaced it, I found out the front end was totally worn out and loose. I drove it for a year like that, then entered it in a demolition derby.

The trunk was so huge, I was able to haul engines in it, as well as my tools. They don't make cars like that any more.

i'd like to say my 04" Pontiac gto,but...
the gas mileage in that car is actually pretty good, and by adding a K&N air intake,it gives me an additional-2-3 miles per gallon

Both my '74 K5 Blazer full convertible and '79 Bronco XLT. Didn't matter if I drove the speed limit or pushed it, or towed a trailer at 80 mph, they always got between 9-11 mpg.

Gee, I'd like to have them back.

Had a 460 thunderbird,a 460 lincoln,at least two 460 LTD's,a 429 mercury,and a 501 cadillac,and all loved gas,and though i'm a die hard Ford Freak,i gave my brother the thumbs up the other day,to trade his 7.5(460) 89 F-250 4wd for a 76 GMC 2wd with a 350 automatic.

Years back I had a 1966 (first year) Olds Toronado with the 425 cu.in. , 385 h.p. Super sweet ride but front end started to float at close to 130 m.p.h. I think maybe 8 m.p.g. 4600 lbs. dry weight and front wheel drive. I do miss that one.

350 engine 4 speed transmission. 4.10 gear with 14 bolt rear end and tow package.

To run 10s you have to make a decent amount of power and tie the frame well enough to put the power down. What was the engine setup and the suspension layout?

in the one i have now, with just a yamaha 50hp 2 stroke,i can burn through $70-$80[22 gallons] worth of fuel in about 4-5 hours, without even half trying.

when i had boats with bigger motors, like 115hp,or 225hp,it was REALLY!! bad!!!!
[that why i sold them...it was too expensive to operate them!] '~'

i have yet to see any car,or truck that burns as much fuel as even a mid-size boat!!
