Because if you look at the friends' lists on MOST of the women on here, they are a bunch of deadbeat trash. Here I am, busting my a** at work on a Sunday, because one of the biggest magazines is coming in to interview my company (by far, the leader in it's market segment) tomorrow, and my dating inboxes are full of proverbial Arizona tumbleweeds.
Should I just quit, get some shitty old English font tats, and bend rebar like most of the D*ckie-clad, downs syndrome impersonators on here. Then b*tches be all like, "I want your minimum wage d---! Bounce yo lowrider bicycle! Show me ALL yo food stamps!"

There are two groups of people on here. Being 36, and a new soul, I tend to lean down towards, I'll call them Group 1. They typify the quest for the LCD on here. They love swag. You are firmly in Group 2. They like Bunko. I'm not sure I'm compatible with either.

Hm...well, if your goal is to have a lot of "friends" on a crappy Internet dating site, I guess your argument might carry some weight...
Right now, I'm kind of wondering how you managed to build a successful business with that kind of critical reasoning skills and starting premises.

How can having a decent career / job possibly be a turn off? I always thought women wanted a guy who actually worked, and made a buck or two? What am I missing here?
Now if said job was possibly in waste management, and I do mean waste,(like the smelly kind), I then could see your point.)

It can be a turn off if the person is broken.
I was talking to a waitress at the bar where I shoot pool. She asked me what I did for a living, if I lived alone, house or apartment, etc.
I told her and she said "oh, you have it all together, I don't like guys like that, I like guys that I have to fix".
Keep in mind, that was my hangout, just there to shoot pool and drink, I wasn't trying to get her or anything, she approached me.

Yes. Most people like adventure.
That is why so many women ditch their multi-million dollar husbands and tie up with dumpster divers, pan handlers and bottle collectors.
The career is an obstruction to becoming fully self-actualized as Maslow would put it.
Men do it too but usually after snorting their fortunes up their noses.
That kind of life is really adventurous!!
Ask Rob Ford of Toronto.

Personally it is a turn on to find a woman that is successful. I consider myself to be a successful guy. I work hard, lots of hours and make awesome money. The problem I have is 1.the women that talk to me are lazy and won't work. 2. They have children and are looking for a meal ticket. I'm not against dating women with children, but I shouldn't be expected to pay for what their baby daddy won't.

More than anything it's the attitude that turns someone off, ppl always have to blame something!
