Ot: To answer the question from a womans point of view and over 2 yrs of being on this site (for dating at 1st but mostly forums now)....yes there are some really decent men in MN. They can be hard to find, but there some out there. I met a guy I dated off and on for over 2 yrs on this site and now he is my bestest friend in the world! I have also talked to a good handful of great guys that it just wasn't meant to be, but they are awesome guys that I try to keep in occasional touch with to say hi.
Basically....don't give up, but don't search too hard (that's when you usually find the wrong ones), and just have fun chatting and see wherr it takes ya. You may find amazing friends along the way and as far as a relationship or decent guy...that will come along when you least expect it!

After giving this question much thought from all different prospectives I think that " normal" doesn't really appy to Mn men, the term Minnesota nice what a misnomer! In reality what we claim here is found in other states in spades! We're just as a rule to lazy to move. Yes myself included. What's lacking is motivation. A common trait up here. Notice how all professional teams here all need support from the public sector to even have a place to play their sports? There is no wealth to be found here, no development can survive the onslaught of tree huggers. So as a rule " normal" is to do without.

Lazy??? You need to stop by & visit me! I don't own a "stair master" - I AM a stair master. When I'm not up to my butt in snow, I'm up to my knees in mud. I dig myself out of snow drifts on my belly like a damn walrus. My Bloodhound out weighs me by a good 20# & being she's 12, I have to help lift her a dozen times a day. My favorite cow went down in February & I had to put a telephone pole under her to use it like a see-saw to stand her up (cuz the planks I used first snapped in two). I move over a ton of hay - by hand - on any given day. I had to push a one ton off the snow/ice in my yard last week cuz the person who came to buy hay didn't know how to drive their own truck. That's just the tip of my iceberg.
You must be a doctor cuz the doctors I've been to, asking for a few pain pills for my back (so I can occasionally catch a few zzzz's) thinks that I'm just a whiny female, yet gives the 400 pound lazy guy I know a script for 100 Vicodin so he can lay around & eat Bon Bons all day.
For fun, I like a nice 5 mile walk with my dogs, or a 20 mile bike ride, or a nice camping trip to the BWCA with a few good portages inbetween a 4 hour canoe trip.
Lazy? Not all of us. j/s
please note she does all this and she lives in the city of MPLS! Wow were even more primitive than I thought!
