Lol, true but back then I didn't understand about horniness so she was just scary and confusing. I'd rather think back on Gramma making Thanksgiving turkey or watching soaps than getting wet from watching Tom Jones.

Who remembers Edgewater Park in
Detroit.The old wooden roller coaster?
There was an amusement park in Walled Lake, too, when my dad was a kid. They lived right next to it and my grandparents helped run the park. It had a roller coaster, ferris wheel, mini "jet" boats (not sure how much of a "jet" they were, or how powerful), a roller rink and some of the carnival type games. Not to mention the beach (it was right on Walled Lake) and the food. My dad says they spent just about every waking moment of the summer there.

Gum in tops baseball cards. I wish I had all the Mickey mantle cards I used for clackers in my bicycle spokes.

Anything noisy or messy to annoy the parents is good for kids.

old light bulbs in when they burnt out
and they would replace them Free.
The Old Train Station in Detroit was a
beautiful building,we use to meet Grandpa
there.Now that building needs to be torn
down.
