the only bowl game i'd go to would be the peach bowl. but truthfully, even if i had tix i might sale/sell/sail them. a close friend has a good set up with a 15' screen and hd projector. good friends, good food, good times.

I told my three daughters, "When boys tease you, it means they really like you, they just don't know how to show it."  
The Poinsettia Bowl was a great game. It looked like BYU was running away with it the first half. Wyoming never gave up and had a QB that was nailing 30 yard passes in the pouring rain all night. BYU won, but almost lost it in the 4Q. BYU and Wyoming are long time big rivals.

I am not predicting ~~
I have heard the various coaches talking ~~
I don't know about Penn State & USC -- Penn has been playing strong if they keep their stuff together and don't get bigheaded and can have the mindset that this is the ONLY game they have to play this year and forget their stats to get to the bowl. USC is no paper Tiger and they will be bringing their best game.

The Huskies are at a disadvantage with player loss, while Bama is one hot team with some awesome players (I love that young quarterback) if practice makes perfect, this young man is going to be one of the best ever in the game of football (barring injuries).
If the first half is tight -- and Bama doesn't begin to gloat -- they will come out in the second half and Role Tide of a Peach background.

As I explained from the top, I was listening to the various means coaches being interviewed.
I balanced what they were saying about their own team & players and the other teams then I stated my best possible opinion.
What they were saying about Washington was that they are the only team which kind of don't listen to the coach but run plays on their own, or something like that. I equated it to lack of discipline. They were saying that was why they were blown away in a recent game.
Hey, I don't know. I'm just trying to learn this technical football stuff.

Atlanta PD, GA Bureau of Investigation & Homeland Security are seeking a suspect who threw a suspicious item near the Huskies bench at the Peach Bowl, hitting a staff member in the face.
The item has been tested for biological, nuclear, and explosive materials and has been determined to be negative.
Suspect had not been identified.

thats kool. i'm honest enough about it to say, i'm on the fence a bit myself.
heres my thoughts on it right now. bamas offense has to be better, period. however, i dont put quite as much stock in clemsons thrubbing of tosu as most folks. i never once thought they should be in the game. the only reason tosu was there was because the bigten refs put them there. i truly feel like bama or washington would have done similar things to tosu. now, i'm not saying clemson aint very good, because they can most definitely beat bama. they have that revenge factor in a strong way. no doubt they are hongry. but bama has a defensive cordinator now that understands how to better defense a mobile qb. as good as kirby smart was, from the day he set foot on campus, he never changed how he defended a mobile qb.
all of that boils down to, it should be a great game. will it live up to last years? who knows.

agree with this. if clemsons d line dominates the bama o line, it will be a long night for the offense. this bama o line isnt quite like former bama o lines. not roadgraders per se'. no doubt that clemson d line is very active.

Tater, If I remember correctly about one year ago from today you had no voice from screaming and yelling. I hope that's not the case for you today.
I didn't touch the side but I sure did enjoy winning the OVER on the total.
It was truly a classic to watch for college football fans no matter who one was pulling for.
Maybe the ACC will finally be recognized now as not only a basketball conference but also as a pretty good football conference with what they did in their bowl games and winning two national championships in the past four years.
Now back to my passion called the NFL Playoffs.
