I like public and private. Never hunted a ranch and wouldnt want to. Not paying to kill a tame deer that eats out of the same feeders every day and call myself a hunter. I like going in woods looking for deer trails scrapes and rubs and posting up a good distance away and see what happens.

Killed way more on public, but the way Florida is going I switched to private in Georgia!
I worked to help get Florida their Constitutional authority in 1992, but it was the biggest mistake we ever made The FWC sucks now!!!!! The number of laws now rival the us TAX LAWS

I prefer private land but it's so hard to come by here so I mostly hunt the thousands of free public land. I never would pay to hunt a ranch.

The only public land I hunt is in fl for turkey. Bull creek.
Every where else is private.

I have only hunted private land but I'm lucky enough to have friends and nieghbors that allow me too. I always respect thier place by not trashing it, leaving ruts or bringing anyone else. I always leave it better than I found it.

I have watched ranch hunting on tv, damn deer standing out in an open field, hunter sitting in a building shooting out the window, deer are not wild, in my opinion this is a poor excuse to call hunting JMO.

i have 8 acres private hunt land in indiana. hunt friends land and plus next street over across from my land is a indiana wildlife area 3500 acres to hunt has gun range and archery range. only problem is new idiot hunter w/permission next to my land is a a**hole. cut section of corner of woods and made truck trail to his area to hunt. parks hus truck in middle of all our woods and goes hunting. says trucks parked in wards don't scare deer 2 year fight with this asswipe. DNR has been contacted and hopefully charges will go threw.
