olderthandirt20 Waldron, AR 70, joined Jul. 2014	I spent most of my life working to support a big family and because of that I had to live in cities and larger towns. Now that I have that behind me I'm buying 5 acres in the mountains and going to build an 800 sq.ft. cabin in the woods. Just enough room to live as simple a life as I can. Yeah I found a guy to cut the timber I need to make room for the house and driveway he keeps half and I get the other half. then the well gets drilled and and the bulldozer comes in and clears the pad for the house & a garden area. Then septic system goes in. Kind of like the military hurry up and wait.

I was considering taking an international vacation but I decided that property might be a better choice in the long run. After that it will deciding how to builad the home I want and what materials to use. The only thing I know for sure is I want a home that is Eco friendly and off the grid completely.
