There is not even an option anywhere on my version...
Desk top unit...
Anyway, not one place on any screen is there even an option for friend requesting or accepting. If I click on the Friends link it takes me to my main profile screen. The same thing happens if I click to respond to someone's blog...takes me to my own home profile page...

hmmmm .... clicking on one's BLOGS?
Do you mean THREAD.
WHEN you are at one's thread ... click on their posted pic or underscored member name ... and that will take you to that person's PROFILE ... at the profile, under their pic box are four feature selections ... click on ADD FRIEND .... that action will automatically send a computer generated request to that person --- if they have their profile in the visible status.
If the receiving person chooses to allow the friend request you will then receive a computer message that your friend has been listed.
Rule of thumb, courtesy.
Do not just randomly send friends requests to other members ... seek their permission to send them a friend request first. You may do that by ssociating with that person in the threads and forums.
If you are continuing to have issues with the friending feature, you may:
1. be restricted by the system for previous Friend Request violations ... I.e.: scamming, spamming, trolling
2. have a need to flush your history, cookies and cache ... sign off the site, close your browser, open a new browser, sign back into the site

 Cup...I've actually been on here since 2007...
if you try to send me a friend request I can NOT accept it - in any screen anywhere at any time - there is no option...
nor can i send ANY friend request as there is NO OPTION to do so on any screen anywhere at any time...
when i mentioned Blogs, i meant blogs...if i go and read folks blogs as i did in the past and try to respond to them - i get dumped onto my main profile page and nothing more...

I tossed my original self and was off here for a month or two this past summer...
When I came back the new program was running and it's been this way ever since...
Under my old profile I had friends etc...
It's a desktop running windows7...
does it with google and IE both

Have you scrubbed your disc since you left your old profile?
You may have picked up a tracking robot which is not allowing your hard drive to access the correct commands.
Just a thought.......

If a friend accepts you ~ you dont get a message letting you know they approved your friends request.

I logged out and retried and I still see no change...
Like I mentioned before, it's no big deal to me, but there are others that this may be happening to also...
It's probably a glitch caused by me running a computer that is 7 years old!!!

It's apparently happening with others too.
A guy I know tried to friend me and it dumped him back into his main home page and tried to friend himself! He thought I was nuts too until he tried to friend me or even someone else, so it is not just myself experiencing this...

There is a limit on how many friends each member has.
Perhaps clearing out some of the old/deleted etc will allow for new ones to be added.

Did some research..try this
Try this link below..they own site we're on and others..perhaps catch them by opening their pg and tell them in total detail what's gone wrong here and with site...it's worth a try. .i saw an advertising tele # perhaps call them maybe they know more about why DH people are being ignored totally for CS issues..i had done google search starting with who owns DH site and found the link below...copy and paste it to your browser. ..again nothing to lose/ maybe a solution...
Maybe you can say you'll reach sponsors and tell them what's going on here and perhaps that will upset sponsors who seek out our business..
