I read it...and i read it clear.

She already stated she was raised by "stick to your own"
I know those days are gone.
So...was her parents racist?
I kind of think so.
Therefore she already has some racist mentality in her even though she believes shes not.

And no..words mean a lot...choose your words wisely because for the most part...people will "speak" out whats in their heart.

Its really not about my experience...ive already answered the question earlier in this thread.
However, i have two step sisters who are white.
Although my parent and their parent are not together after 20 years of marriage...we still love one another and talk.
So...take that where you choose...but im not racist because i was raised in a good two different race famliy home.
One of my sisters is close to my age...we went to high school together, and never did we have issues with one another.
Our parents got a divorce...way after we graduated from high school.

Most have.
You have the usual difficulties that inevitably come about, but the crazy's seem to come out of the woodwork, or you're more aware of it. With most couples their differences are not that noticeable, with this they are when you walk in a room. To say it's not noticeable, especially when one partner is fish belly white is a lie.
Looks aside, it's an adventure, either one finds the culture differences exciting or disturbed. Not everyone is hard wired for change. Some find it electric.

Stop arguing and spend the time taking care of your mother. Moments between a mother and daughter are precious and few in long term illness.You can still be a help to her and the family in some way if you try.

Un like some folk... be quick to put in a nursing home...but we care until the end.
Did the same for my mother n law. (No nursing home)
So keep your mouth clossed on that one.
And before you open your mouth on my buisness...make sure ya get it right because you failed toooooooo many times today.

I took care of my husband until the day he died. He died in my arms at the young age of 60. He had a tear rolling down his cheek. Even though he was terminal he still wasn't ready to pass. He went from 208 lbs to 115 at last weight. His family was nowhere around, they were not accepting of his lifestyle. It would have been nice if they would have sat with him or held his hand once in a while. I think he was just waiting for one of his sisters to show up and tell him its okay to go. I finally had to tell him it was okay to go. We spent the last two days in hospice where he could get his ativan and morphine to help make him comfortable.You need to learn to choose your words carefully. Don't expose yourself for what you really are.
