This is one of the nicest guy I've ever had the honor to know. He was like a father to me from the first day I started working for him. He is the one who got his lodge to sponsor me and get my Blazer fixed. A year ago today he took his own life when his wife of 35 years filed for divorce out of the blue. I smile and get choked up when I see/think of him.

My favorite picture today. The female walked up to the male chuffing then head butted him. He wrestled her down then they were snuggled like this for about 20 minutes.

This is my friend Liz who works at the reptile store my other friend owns, where I get suckered into getting more reptiles and pets. This is a baby crested gecko and yes, it's real. OMG is it not the cutest thing ever?

You actually fill a container up with shaving cream and then put food coloring in it and swirl it around to make a pattern. Dip the egg, let it sit, wash it off, and voila!

With the storms we've had it's not too difficult. I watch for a few checking a general time between flashes then start taking pictures. There are a lot of them without results but catching it is great.
