We took a Chevy aveo to mechanic awhile back. We had issues with windows dropping down or not rising. We felt it was an issue with the electric window motor. It was just a fuse issue. They placed a new fuse and the back windows dropped immediatly and front ones locked in up position. Would not be a major issue but ac is out and it is to hot.
The mechanic stated there is no way of finding out where the short is but I thought a computer analysis could locate issue.
Honestly the car is a waste of space but.....

Fuses rarely blow for no reason. You have an electrical problem. Now the question is what do you want to fix? The windows? The A/C, or both?
If none of the above, then it just might be time to see the showroom instead of the service department.

Without spending a bunch of money chasing electrical problems which can be costly if you are paying a mechanic by the hour.
Try to find in a junk yard or used main window switch cluster. The drivers side cluster. Sometimes they go out and cause windows to do strange things. The cheapest idea i can suggest without actually seeing car.
