Michelle Obama During Justice Scalia’s Moment of Silence
Joshua Riddle
February 21, 2016

Historically when a Supreme Court Justice dies the President attends the funeral, at the very least. When Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist died in 2005, George W. Bush not only went to the funeral, but gave the eulogy. That was too much to ask of ol’ Barry O, though.

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama did carve out time in their day to stand in front of Scalia’s casket, then moved to a portrait of the Justice before exiting the building.

The entire process lasted about two minutes. And here’s how Michelle spent the moment of silence.

Justice Scalia has done more for America than the Obama’s can possibly comprehend. This lack of respect is deeply disturbing to see from a President and his First Lady, but sadly not unexpected.

The increase in police officers being shot and killed on duty is skyrocketing, yet President Obama and the left continue to focus on the phony narrative that it is innocent young black men getting gunned down by cops.

Following the deaths of two Maryland officers several weeks ago, Carroll County Maryland Sheriff Jim DeWees wrote an open letter to President Obama. The exasperation and pain in his words are palpable.

Sheriff, we stand with you and the good men and women in law enforcement.

They Haven’t Been Wrong Since 1975 And They Say Our Next President Will Be…

By JC Torpey on December 5, 2015

Even with the lead Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) has in the polls, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has continued to garner support from small donors at an historical pace not seen in any previous election – even President Obama’s election, which held the previous record.

Could that be why Western Illinois University just gave Sen. Sanders a hell of a holiday gift?
Introducing President Bernie Sanders

Western Illinois University, the only entity that’s predicted every single presidential election with 100 percent accuracy since 1975, just announced that its mock election sent Sen. Sanders and Martin O’Malley (D-Md.) to the White House in 2016 as President and Vice President, respectively.

From Hollywood A-list stars and musicians to millennials, veterans, and even a small-but-growing crop of Republicans with some common sense, supporters #FeelTheBern all over the demographic map. Sen. Sanders is the single “most electable” candidate from either party, even after running a so-called long-shot bid to be nominated as the 2016 Democratic candidate for president.
Mock Election Senator Bernie Sanders President

Mock Election Results via Western Illinois University

The university used the same mock election system in 2007 and 2011 to elect and reelect President Obama to the White House, and it’s the same system they’ve used all these years.
From ‘Most Electable’ to President?

According to the latest Quinnipiac Polling data, although Sen. Sanders is still well behind former Sec. Clinton by more than 30 percentage points, he polls better than any of the GOP presidential candidates – including current GOP front runner Donald Trump.

According to Quinnipiac,

“Sanders does just as well, or even better [than Clinton], against top Republicans.”

Sen. Sanders beats Donald Trump (R) by 8 points, Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) by 1 point, Ted Cruz (R-Texas) by 10 points, and Ben Carson (R) by 6 points, according to Quinnipiac.

Sec. Clinton on the other hand beats Trump by 6 points, Sen. Rubio by 1 point, Sen. Cruz by 5 points and Carson by 10 points, according to Quinnipiac.

What’s even more interesting is the WIU’s prior accuracy, despite naysayers in previous elections. The WIU predicted President Obama’s win in 2007, and in 2011, and our current president’s situation was pretty much the same against Clinton in 2007 as Sen. Sanders’ situation is now against Clinton.

President Obama was behind Sec. Clinton at one point by almost the same number of percentage points.

In a December 14 to 16, 2007, poll, Gallup reported that President Obama, then an Illinois Senator, was behind Sec. Clinton by 18 percentage points in a 45 to 27 percent match-up, respectively.

Republicans said he couldn’t win, but the WIU said otherwise, and the university was right. President Obama eventually pulled ahead of Sec. Clinton to gain enough support to earn the primary win, and earn enough of the popular vote to gain the Presidency.
What About Vice President?

The WIU also predicted that President Obama would pick Senator John Edwards (D-S.C.) to be his running mate instead of picking then Senator and current Vice President Joe Biden. At the time, then Sen. Edwards pulled 15 percent at the time, and then Sen. Biden 3 percent, but the WIU hasn’t been as accurate with its vice presidential picks.

That’s never stopped the WIU from being accurate on presidential picks, and there’s nothing about the current presidential race that would appear to be able to creep up to topple that accuracy.

Even throughout all the religious rhetoric, the GOP’s fear-mongering, fascism, and terrorist threats, and the right wing’s attacks on Americans’ freedoms nationwide – attacks that no one seems to notice or care about anymore – there is an important takeaway here.

Sen. Sanders has a very good shot at winning the nomination for the Democratic candidacy, and then winning the White House.

Any way you cut it, the latest numbers show that no matter how delusional or extreme the GOP candidate is, or which is polling at the top of the Republican ticket currently, a Democrat would win hands down if the general elections were held today.

This isn’t an opinion, it’s numbers, and the WIU backs up those numbers. I for one wouldn’t bet the long shot against the one university that has the single most accurate prediction record ever, Democrat or not.

Would you?

Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton will attend Reagan funeral; the president will not

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan has died at age 94.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton are scheduled to attend Nancy Reagan's private funeral Friday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.

President Obama, however, won't attend and will instead be at the South by Southwest tech conference in Austin, Texas, according to several media outlets.

In a talk Tuesday, Michelle Obama paid tribute to Reagan, saying she "reminded us of the importance of women’s leadership." She said Reagan offered helpful advice when she became first lady.

Reagan, 94, died Sunday of congestive heart failure at her home in Bel-Air.

When the library was built, the Reagans decided they wanted to be buried together on the west side of the property, facing the Pacific Ocean, said Melissa Giller, a spokeswoman for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library.

“They had such a true love affair,” Giller said. “She’s missed him since the day he passed, and I’m sure they are quite happy to be together again.

The funeral procession is being planned based on the former first lady’s wishes, including her choice of the people to be invited, the readings to be given and the people involved in the program, Giller said.

About 1,000 people will be invited, including President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and former presidents, first ladies, heads of state and other dignitaries, she said.

The library also announced that the public will have a chance to pay their last respects before the funeral on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking on-site will not be allowed, but shuttles will be provided from 400 National Way.
See the most-read stories this hour >>

There will be enhanced security during this period at the library, Giller said. No large bags, cameras or strollers will be allowed, and all bags will be inspected. Gifts and flowers will be accepted at the bottom of Presidential Drive and at the shuttle pick-up location.

In lieu of flowers, Reagan asked that contributions be made to the Ronald Reagan Memorial Fund at reaganlibrary.com.

Giller said the former first lady used to visit the library six to 10 times a year. She visited every June on the anniversary of her husband's death, Giller said.

She was very involved with the library as a member of the board and was “instrumental” in bringing the Air Force One exhibit and, more recently, the September presidential debate, to the library, which helped raise its national profile, Giller said.

“Ten to 15 years ago, the Reagan library had a much smaller imprint on our nation,” Giller said. “Without her, we wouldn’t have been able to do all the things that we have achieved so far.”

Really damning. But will his supporters even care?
FLASHBACK: Bernie Sanders Openly Praising Fidel Castro. Trashing Freedom...
Pretty damning.

Published on Oct 19, 2015

A video from 1985 shows Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) making favorable statements regarding Cuban dictator Fidel Castro when Sanders was mayor of Burlington, Vermont. The statements took place during an Aug. 8, 1985 interview on the CCTV Center for Media & Democracy’s Channel 17/ Town Meeting Television, Chittenden County’s local government access station. During the interview, Sanders discussed his recent trip to Nicaragua, marking the sixth anniversary of the Sandinista revolution, and drew parallels between Castro’s regime and the Nicaraguan Sandinista regime of Daniel Ortega. “In 1961, [America] invaded Cuba, and everybody was totally convinced that Castro was the worst guy in the world,” said Sanders. “All the Cuban people were going to rise up in rebellion against Fidel Castro. They forgot that he educated their kids, gave their kids health care, totally transformed society,” he said.

“You know, not to say Fidel Castro and Cuba are perfect - they are certainly not - but just because Ronald Reagan dislikes these people does not mean to say the people in these nations feel the same,” continued Sanders. During the interview, Sanders also discussed some of the officials he met with in Nicaragua. In reference to Nicaragua’s Foreign Minister Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, Sanders said, “I was impressed by Father d'Escoto.” “If this guy is the foreign minister of a 'terrorist nation,' then they should get another foreign minister, because he is a very gentle, very loving man,” said Sanders. He referred to Ortega as “an impressive guy.” Sanders was also strongly critical of then-President Ronald Reagan. “The Sandinista government, in my view, has more support among the Nicaraguan people, substantially more support, than Ronald Reagan has among the American people,” said Sanders.

“If President Reagan thinks that any time a government comes along, which in its wisdom, rightly or wrongly, is doing the best for its people, he has the right to overthrow that government, you're going to be at war not only with all of Latin America, but with the entire Third World,” he said. Ortega currently serves as president of Nicaragua. Castro stepped down as president of Cuba in 2008 and transferred power to his brother Raúl. Sanders is currently running to be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States.

Sinister Source Donated $200K To THIS Republican Candidate

Kevin Whitson March 14, 2016 at 1:17pm

In a multi-part series special, former Fox News talk show host Glenn Beck exposed George Soros to the world as the man behind machine, the political puppeteer who was actually controlling U.S. politics, news, financial markets, among a myriad of other things.

Beck’s career at Fox News came to a screeching halt shortly after the exposé making the accusations aired, a result he said was due in part to his commentary about Soros.

There’s no question that leftist liberal Soros is heavily involved in the Democratic campaigns for presidency, but some may be surprised to learn some Republican candidates are also on the take. Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) has been the beneficiary of Soros funds. In a tweet by Scottie Nell Hughes, Hughes revealed Kasich has received $202,700 from Soros’ fund management.

In a reply to Hughes’ tweet, another Twitter user tweeted Donald Trump was also a recipient of Soros’ funds. A user named Pete pointed Hughes to a New York Times article from 2004. In the article, it was revealed George Soros invested $160 million into Trump’s Chicago skyscraper project.

So, at least two of the remaining four Republican candidates have done business with Soros. Yet Soros spoke out against Trump in January 2016 saying he was, “doing the work of ISIS,” by alienating Muslims with his disparaging comments to barre them from entering the U.S.

Also, Soros has been outed by Western Journalism and the Washington Times as having funded Black Lives Matter, a group responsible for the organized disruptions seen recently at Donald Trump rallies in Chicago and other places. The mainstream media has been reporting on the violence at the Trump rallies, the inflammatory comments attributed to Trump of being the cause of the violence, and yet not one reporter seems to be asking the organized disruptors questions such as, “Who is supporting you?” “How did you get to the rally?” “Who paid for you to be able to attend?”

The mainstream media already knows Soros is behind the apparent smear campaign against Donald Trump. According to the Washington Times, the Soros funded Moveon.org is responsible for shutting down Trump’s rally in Chicago over the weekend. Trump blamed Bernie Sanders for the disruption, but he probably should have blamed his old business partner, Soros. As Glenn Beck concluded in his multi-part series, all roads lead to George Soros, the progressive liberal leftist billionaire who influences American politics and political organizations.

Well, so much for me thinking that Kasich was worth a dam. He could restore my confidence in him if he's put soros in a wheelchair and push him off a cliff. Or not.

Conundrums Of Socialism

Free people are not equal. Equal people are not free. (Think this one over and over … makes sense!)

"A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again."

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six conundrums of socialism in the United States of America:

1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century. Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering…

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money! What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.

Think about it.....and last but not least:

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Am I the only one missing something?

"If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government,
then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools."
---Plato

Joe Fyffe

A lot of people have brought up the fact that they won't vote for
Trump if he's the eventual nominee.
I just want to put something in perspective.

Justice Scalia's seat is vacant. Ginsberg is 82 years old, Kennedy
is 79, Breyer is 77, and Thomas is 67. Nowadays, the data shows
that the average age of a Supreme Court retirement or death occurs
after 75.

These are 5 vacancies that will likely come up over the next 4-8
years. The next President will have the power to potentially
create a 7-2 Supreme Court skewed in their ideology.

Think about that... 7-2. If the next President appoints 5 young
justices, it will guarantee control of the Supreme Court for an
entire generation. And 7-2 decisions will hold up much more over
time than 5-4 decisions which are seemed to be lacking in mandate.

Hillary has made it clear she will use the Supreme Court to go
after the 2nd Amendment. She has literally said that the Supreme
Court was wrong in its Heller decision stating that the Court
should overturn and remove the individual right to keep and bear
arms. Period.

Everyone saying that they won't vote for one candidate or the
other if they are the GOP nominee, please realize this. If Hillary
Clinton wins and gets to make these appointments, you likely will
never see another Conservative victory at the Supreme Court level
for the rest of your life. Ever.

If you are a Conservative, a vote for anyone but the GOP nominee,
whomever that will be, is a vote for Hillary Clinton.

Founding Father Haunts Obama With 200-Year-Old SCOTUS BOMBSHELL He Won’t Want Out

"If the Senate shall be divided..."

Kevin Whitson March 18, 2016 at 12:13pm

Merrick B. Garland, nominee for the current vacancy on the Supreme Court who once stood against the Second Amendment and the people of the District of Columbia’s right to keep and bear arms for self-protection, may not quite be the moderate the Obama administration would want the American people to think he is.

At any rate, the Republicans in the Senate have refused to meet with Garland, have promised not to hold any hearings, and appear resolved to wait until the next president is elected before moving forward with a nominee.

Now, powerful Senate Democrats including Harry Reid are quick to use the shame and blame game in an effort to force Senate Republicans to confirm Garland as the next Supreme Court justice. “Why can’t the Republicans just do what they’re supposed to, do their jobs?” Reid said. “I don’t get what the Republicans are trying to do.”

What is clear is the Democrats are attempting to push through a nomination which would further sway the Supreme Court, likely for decades, to the more progressive side with five justices being liberal and four being considered conservative. The Republicans, who control the Senate by majority, are in no such rush.

The stalemate has led some investigative journalists to seek guidance from our nation’s founding fathers.

Seth Lipsky’s opinion piece in the New York Post, titled “By Hamilton’s Rules on Supreme picks, the Senate’s Right and Obama’s Wrong,” reviews Alexander Hamilton’s Federalist 69 articles and located an article where Hamilton, writing under the pen name Publius, wrote of a likely and now current scenario, in which the Senate may find themselves divided on a supreme court justice nomination.

Lipsky discovered that Hamilton wrote, “In the national government, if the Senate should be divided, no appointment could be made.”

Lipsky also stated Hamilton added the powers of the president to nominate justice appointments should be checked and balanced under the idea the president is no king and whose powers should be even lower than the governor of New York, for example. New York’s governor at the time did have the power to vote for his own judicial nominations.

In other words, the president can only nominate, he cannot appoint. The nomination can only result in an appointment, if and only if, the president’s nomination secures the approval of the Senate.

Therefore, the president has done his job for now, as promised, and the fate of any Supreme Court justice, including the Garland nomination, lies is in the hands of Senate Republicans.

And, according to Lipsky’s review of Hamilton’s writings, the Senate is actually doing its job by precisely NOT approving the Obama nomination.

ISLAM WAS BANNED FROM THE USA IN 1952

YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS:Ayatollah

ISLAM WAS BANNED FROM THE USA IN 1952 – But Obama doesn’t want you to know that, nor does he respect or uphold US law. The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization and nationality for the United States.

That Act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of aliens to the US and remains in effect today.

Among the many issues it covers, one in particular found in Chapter 2, Section 212, is the prohibition of entry in to the US if the alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by force, violence or by other unconstitutional means.”

This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States but this law is being ignored by the White House.

Islamic immigration to the United States would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam which is antithetical to the United States government, the Constitution and to the Republic.

All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government.

Now the politically correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the United States because Islam is a ‘religion.’

Whether it is a ‘religion’ is immaterial because the law states that aliens who are affiliated with any organization that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited.

Obama claims that we have always had great relations with Islam, but he is apparently ignorant that Jefferson declared war on them, and later we had to fight them in World War One, and then they sided with Hitler in World War Two! I don’t think that qualifies them as being friendly to us.

Starting about 2,000 years ago, the Jews, and later the Christians, started abandoning their bloody ways, and if the Muslims would do the same, we might have a chance of having PEACE ON EARTH. But as long as some of them pursue their outdated philosophy and continue to believe that they can gain entrance into heaven by killing people, they are weakening the core of their religion.

It is ridiculous to believe that any Deity, whether it be God or Allah, would approve of that!

While a 4 to 1 approach seems good I would prefer at least a 10 to 1 myself. These muzzies are a waste of human flesh. If they want to see this allah we ought to do everything we can to send them to hell where allah is so they can spend eternity with him. Of course we'll spare any who want to sincerely convert. This is the only thing these clowns understand.

Trust me, Driver, I have no love for McConnell at all. He has stabbed REAL Americans in the back time after time. We all know that. However, he has one and ONLY one redeeming quality; he has always been faithful to the Second Amendment. He is in fact scheduled to speak at the NRA Annual Meeting in Louisville in May. He will be in the same room as Governor Matt Bevin, Sheriff David Clarke, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump, and God knows how many fearless, angry, patriotic NRA members like me. I can't imagine him stabbing us in the back this close to this event, either before or afterwards. Rubbing shoulders, literally, with tens of thousands of armed, responsible gun owners who have a heritage of standing our ground, in his home state no less, will hopefully give him courage to stand up to the little tyrant obama.

HAPPY RESSURECTION DAY my friends!

He is risen!

He is not here;
he has risen, just as he said.
Come and see the place where he lay.

Matthew 28:6 NIV

Today is the day! It’s finally here, Easter Sunday, the day that followers of Christ all over the world celebrate His resurrection. The Son of God who walked among us as a Son of Man was dead, but now He is alive again! The Bible says that Jesus made us holy by sacrificing Himself: one sacrifice for all time (Hebrews 10:5–14)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

John 3:16 (chapter 3, verse 16 of the Gospel of John) is one of the most widely quoted verses from the Christian Bible, and has been called the most famous Bible verse. It has also been called the "Gospel in a nutshell", because it is considered a summary of the central theme of traditional Christianity.

And remember, evil has always been with us, and always will. We have pure evil at all levels of government, just as in Jesus's time. Evil doers are liars, and many will be deceived.

Warner Todd Huston reports at a recent campaign event on so-called “gun violence,” Hillary Clinton said Americans own too many guns and then said she’d do something about this “problem” when she becomes president.

What else could this mean but confiscation?

Clinton was speaking at round-table-like forum on guns held at St. Paul’s Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where she insisted we have too many guns.

“When it comes to guns? We have just too many guns,” Hillary said to the applause of those in attendance. “On the streets, in our homes, in our neighborhoods.”

She went on to say America must address the “epidemic” of guns and hinted that if she were to become president she would do something about it all. But what would that “doing something” look like?

Well, it must be remembered that last year Clinton spoke positively about the gun confiscation policy imposed on the people of Australia. Clinton said the Australian policy is one “worth considering” and said it could be imposed using the Obama program “Cash for Clunkers” as a model.

Clinton noted, though, that there is opposition to her anti-gun ideas. Naturally, instead of acknowledging that her hatred of the Second Amendment is a view not shared by millions of Americans, Hillary tried to make the issue seem to be one of faceless gun-supporting lobbyists standing against “the people” as opposed to millions of regular American gun owners standing against her and her anti-gun compatriots.

“And, you know, there’s been a lot of talk in this campaign, in the primary campaign, about the power of certain interests in our country,” Clinton said. “And we do have a bunch of powerful interests, make no mistake about it. But there is no more powerful lobby than the gun lobby. None.”

“They’re only just getting warmed up, I’m fully aware of that.” she concluded.

But this liberal narrative that only those dreaded “lobbyists” are pushing the pro-gun issue and they are only doing it for “gun companies” to make profits is a total lie. After all, the National Rifle Association has well over four million members. These members are average, everyday Americans who support their Second Amendment rights.

And it has to be realized that the number of people who take the time fill out a membership form and pay the fee to belong to the NRA is only a small number of the over one third of Americans who claim outright to own a gun. It should also be remembered that the NRA isn’t the only gun-centric organization out there for people to join.

The point here is the NRA isn’t just a bunch of money-hungry and faceless lobbyists working in secret for the evil gun manufacturers. The NRA represents real, normal, common Americans who support the NRA by the millions. And when Clinton tries to pretend that the NRA is just “lobbyists” she is discounting the votes of literally millions of Americans and trying to act as if they simply don’t exist.

This is the main reason why the left has lost this fight for so long. It is why despite the feverish efforts of Democrats all across the country we now have concealed carry laws in every single state — including all the extremely liberal states.

Extremist left wingers like Clinton simply can’t come to terms that tens of millions of voting Americans — including many rank and file Democrat voters — simply do not support liberal gun grabs.

Solar Energy Isn’t Always as Green as You Think
Do cheaper photovoltaics come with a higher environmental price tag?
By Dustin Mulvaney
Posted 26 Aug 2014 |

Solar panels glimmering in the sun are an icon of all that is green. But while generating electricity through photovoltaics is indeed better for the environment than burning fossil fuels, several incidents have linked the manufacture of these shining symbols of environmental virtue to a trail of chemical pollution. And it turns out that the time it takes to compensate for the energy used and the greenhouse gases emitted in photovoltaic panel production varies substantially by technology and geography.

That’s the bad news. The good news is that the industry could readily eliminate many of the damaging side effects that do exist. Indeed, pressure for it to do so is mounting, in part because, since 2008, photovoltaics manufacturing has moved from Europe, Japan, and the United States to China, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Taiwan; today nearly half the world’s photovoltaics are manufactured in China. As a result, although the overall track record for the industry is good, the countries that produce the most photovoltaics today typically do the worst job of protecting the environment and their workers.

TRUER WORDS HAVE NOT BEEN SPOKEN!

By Jeff Foxworthy:

If plastic water bottles are okay, but plastic bags are banned, — you might live in a nation (state) that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots WE DO LIVE IN SUCH A DUMB COUNTRY!!

If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If an 80-year-old woman who is confined to a wheelchair or a three-year-old girl can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE IN ALL UPCOMING ELECTIONS. MOST OF THE IDIOTS RUNNING THIS COUNTRY SAY ONE THING AND DO THE OPPOSITE KNOWING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED THEM IN DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY DO BUT ONLY WHAT THEY SAY

United States Senator Mike Lee
October 30, 2015 ·

This is how it happens.

Last night while you were sleeping the Senate voted to steal $150 billion dollars from the Social Security Trust Fund. I joined 34 of my colleagues in a vote to prevent this raid. I would like to thank Senator Rand Paul for leading the fight to protect to Social Security from the thieves in Washington, who seem to think that if they steal from the American people at night while they are sleeping that they will get away with it. I was proud to vote with Senator Paul on his point of order that would have protected Social Security, and I ask you to help me shine a light on what Washington has tried to hide from you in the darkness of night.

If everyone who sees this message shares it, it will reach millions of Americans. As someone who has been fighting for years to reform our broken government in Washington, I know it is exhausting, I sympathize with your frustration, and I understand your impatience. But don't give up. Washington wants you to give up.

Just remember, a vote to raid social security in the middle of the night in a desperate attempt to perpetuate an unsustainable spending addiction isn't a sign of strength. It is a sign of weakness.

London Set To Elect Muslim Mayor With Ties To Extremism

May 2, 2016

By Jacob Bojesson

London is expected to elect its first-ever Muslim mayor Thursday, despite opponents presenting evidence of his past ties to radical Islam.

Sadiq Khan, a member of parliament for the center-left Labour Party, holds a 20-point lead in polls going into Thursday’s election. If elected, Khan would become the first Muslim mayor in a major Western capital. But past dealings with radical Islam continue to haunt him.

Conservative candidate Zac Goldsmith, backed by Prime Minister David Cameron, has criticized Khan for giving “platform, oxygen and cover” to extremists throughout his political career.

Most notably, Khan campaigned at an event in 2004 alongside five extremist preachers while running for parliament. He simultaneously served as the chair of the Muslim Council of Britain’s legal affairs committee, which defended Muslim scholar Yusuf Al-Qaradawi when he was subject to a ban from entering the United Kingdom.

Al-Qaradawi authored “The Lawful and Prohibited in Islam,” in which he defends the practice of wife-beating, discusses whether gays should be killed and calls suicide bombings against Israeli citizens “God’s justice.”

Khan said “there is a consensus among Islamic scholars that Mr Al-Qaradawi is not the extremist that he is painted as being,” during a testimony in parliament. Al-Qaradawi was later banned from entering the United Kingdom in 2008.

Another headache was handed to Khan Friday when a 1997 video of his former brother-in-law, Makabool Javaid, went viral. The video shows Javaidpreaching anti-West propaganda during a rally for Sharia law in Britain.

Yep. And as much as I like wind and solar look at the energy, material, resources to build these things. WAY more than they can ever recoup. Wind gens need an oil change of many mega gallons very frequently.
