Why is it harder for a female to work with male counterparts?

Maybe for the same reasons it's hard for us men to work with women. In my case, the ladies are all over me, and won't leave me alone long enough for me to do my job.)

Honest comment from 40 years in the professional world, starting when it was an all male club. Too many men lack self confidence and dont like the female competition. At the same time a lot of women dont help themselves because they try and come across like aggressive men.... I have noticed way too many times women try and make themselves tough by being intransigent and overbearing as opposed to collaborative. It is one thing to stand your ground, it is another to it intentionally in someone's face.

Team Sports... Right.
But how many times have you been called a 'quarterback'?

Seriously, OP.... Your post should answer your question.
I worked in a male dominated career field for 32 years and I lived through it and never had an issue with my male counterparts. (And I even became their supervisor.)
In employment you're an employee -- neither male nor female.

Thank you so much I am finding it hard to cope with because I am naturally dominate and can not find my place without being around men and the jobs and activities they do. I am starting to be hated amongst them because I am winning. Am sexy too so hardly no work being done as much as I should. Tom Boy tactics..
So I will train to be softer with my counter parts but I hope I do not lose the naturalism about who I am. I pray for sweetness..
