Well...I can't see it being the same thing as the Women's Liberation movement, but in reverse because of the gender. If that was the case, then men would be wanting things that make them appear less masculine and manly, and women aren't going to accept that and desire men as much....even though women lost some of the femininity that men like in women, during their changes and it was sorta accepted or put up with. Either way after reading a recent thread about men not wanting to commit in general as much as they use to, it dawned on me later that...the Men's liberation movement has already started and been going on for a while now..or could be. Perhaps they are Liberating themselves from relationships and commitment feeling that why bother, if its not going to really be 50/50? why bother if you can't have love on your terms too? Why bother if you have to treat her like the most important thing in your life, and be put below things that are more important to her than you? etc, etc, etc. Could this possibly be...the Men's Liberation Movement? It just dawned on me as a possibility reading that thread. It seems to be prevalent with the younger crowd too....and it wasn't this way back in the day. They were raised in this new era, and the older ones raised in the old era. The younger ones doing this now, the older ones doing this now, but didn't before. Makes you wonder. So now yes, a men's liberation movement is needed. I know of someone that was attacked, and when he defended himself, the police took him to jail. The female in question even ADMITTED to the police that she attacked him first, and yet, he still want to jail. The DA kept pushing for charges, trying to get him to accept a plea agreement, until I told him about the Equal Justice Foundation. After he emailed them, they flew two attorneys out of Phoenix pro bono to assist him. They started a media campaign that embarrassed that b*tch so bad, that she dropped the charges. EJF rocks!
