Once again, I think you need to take your meds and go to bed if you are really having that nightmare about the Raiders being relevant this season smoken boy but this time join your dog grizz in his dog house and maybe you will sleep better.
Clearly Tommy you're not following football, Raiders are expected to make a huge splash this year after years of not being relevant. There is even talk (gasp!) of making the playoffs. Maybe not SB bound, but better than they have been in years.

I don't have a dog in the fight either way when it comes to the Raiders but I do listen closely to what most of the experts have to say who make their living analyzing sports. When it comes to the Raiders you are correct in saying they will be better than the product they have been putting on the field in recent years but a 'huge splash' sounds like a stretch since they are predicted to finish 3rd in their own division. I know you are a part of the Raiders and I wish them and you the best but I'm also a realist. I'll be the first one here to congratulate the Raiders and you if they overachieve this coming season.

When it comes to the Raiders you are correct in saying they will be better than the product they have been putting on the field in recent years but a 'huge splash' sounds like a stretch since they are predicted to finish 3rd in their own division. Tommy Tommy Tommy,just because somebody does something for a living doesn't mean they know what they're doing. Every career politician ever is proof of that. If the so called experts are so bright why was the golden boy Tom Brady not drafted until the 6th round. I wanted the Raiders to take him in the 1st round and was screaming at the TV for 2 days wondering why he was still on the board. That's just 1 example of hundreds when the "experts" were wrong and I was right so think what you wanna think and say what you wanna say but I know talent when I see it.

Socal, I never watch ESPN! My sources who make a living analyzing sports are light years ahead of them or I wouldn't have been able to retire at the age of 42 with enough financial security to last me for two lifetimes even though I know that God will only give me one. If the Raiders finish ahead of both the Broncos and the Chiefs in their own division I will be the first one here to congratulate the Raiders and YOU!

Silly, I knew the Raiders would be better this year than they have been in many years and they have definitely been road warriors but I'm still not sold on them being a playoff team yet with several division games left. Both Denver and KC still look like the teams to beat in the AFC West to me but Oakland is playing well at the moment. This coming Sunday night's game with Denver at Oakland will tell us a lot.

My son told me a funny story about a recruit making a mistake by cutting between a drill sergent and his platoon during a drill.
the recruit was doing something when he made the mistake of getting between the drill sgt. and his platoon. My son told me that the sgt. placed his boot right in the recruits chest.
It knocked him flat on his back! my son said that the entire platoon burst into laughter!
so the Raiders are 8-2. we shall see next week for real.
