Det sucks and everyone on the radio is down on the Bears. This morning I thought my Viqueens would give them a good run. I thought we might win the division behind Teddy and they say he was much improved and stepping up his game in his 3rd year, but then he blew out his knee in afternoon practice and will have surgery soon and is probably out for the year. Now our QB is Shawn Hill, a 15 year backup QB who can't throw more than 20 yards anymore and isn't nearly as nimble as he used to be. Not a chance we'll go anywhere now, but our defense is still excellent. If we win it's because of our defense and Peterson having another great year. Some silly moron on the radio suggested we get Christian Ponder back or Tavaris Jackson. The way they play shows why they're backups. Someone else suggested we get Matt Cassel back, but the guy on the radio thought he was over the hill. Someone loose in the head said we ought to get Favre to come out of retirement again! How old is that guy? 50? I'm sure he'd prefer his plantation in Mississippi to getting his brains beat out on a football field. I'll bet he's enjoying a well deserved retirement after a hall of fame career.
